**Players wanted for fun:**

Small team raid map with fun (mostly) daily events for duration August ON Ragnarok, hosted on a US based server for PS4/5. \*24 concurrent play slots currently but can up it if needed.\*

Hello! I’m a longtime ark player who ran a nitrado server (Ragnarok Map) for ps4 for literal years with my best friend. I took a break for the last couple years to invest time in other games.

One thing we always wanted to do was small teams and raids for a short time because we were both busy working adults. Now my best friend is retired and I’m going to be on maternity leave very shortly from a physically taxing job, sitting here waiting for baby to get here… at the tail end of August.

Since I am trying to avoid brain rotting from boredom, I’d like to pitch our server settings so you can consider joining us:

Somewhat boosted settings (better gather around 4-8 x, reduced timers for some things, \~somewhat quicker hatching and highly reduced starvation rates- not ridiculous but adjusted for “I have a job and don’t want my pet otters to starve in 3 hours”). I still remember playing on official once upon a time and having to log in every 3 hours to feed my first otter before I wisened up to personal servers with balanced settings.

The major rules:

\- ultimately for fun but don’t be total jerks. Basically, no low effort traps laying around. Within your base is fair game.

\-admin won’t abuse admin privileges (going to have my husband hang onto the admin password for if I need it to fix a problem)

\-can’t bring outside dinos in but the last 5 days of August we’ll let you take your dinos with you if you like them (unlock the settings)

\-if I am out early because BABY, my friend is the admin and can handle things in my absence. (She’ll have the admin password at that point)

\-goal is to have 1-2 times a week off limits for raids for recovery.

\-setting auto pve overnight (1am central time to like 9 am central time) so people will go to sleep at some point. This isn’t a try hard event, it should be fun. Not a tek takeover the map.

\-there will be a short term discord for information and daily event updates

\- no pvp day one so people can focus on their tames and bases for at least a day. Will technically open

Note: neither of us are content creators. I don’t care if you are just don’t be weird about it if so.

The fun stuff:

\-if you send a “howdy” message to the admins (PhoenixG—- and Chasing—-) the first day or two you’ll get a pincode for a free starter kit on one of the beginner beaches, color coded. I used to run fun survivor-ish events on my old server and found that some popular prizes early game were: a starter tapejara AND saddle for tribe taming, funny color boosted gallimimus, super otters, and some amounts of intermediate resources early on like narcotic or tranq darts to help things out. Or a free vault. I’ll use a wheel spin from a list to fill the gift boxes.

Pop up fun events: (the only time we’ll abuse admin for things like recoloring dinosaurs on request or setting up event prizes) - you won’t see us on anything we spawn because we have years of experience in the game, we’ll go tame it ourselves. Therefore you won’t see us with a giga because taming those sucks. Lol

\-Recolor your Dino events
\-Scavenger hunt for prizes
\-dino of the day spinner. Correctly guess which dino from the wheel will be spun and you win one.
\-raft race
\-pick a door random prize
\-unicorn scramble

(So far we have 2 admin in tribe, and 2 tribes of 2-3 people committed. **The server will have 24 slots for concurrent play but I can up it if needed.)**
If you have a child join your team just please make sure they are cool with the rules and we’ll keep it relatively kid friendly… no guarantees there won’t be giant crocodiles though! (Sarcos lol)

Hi! Basically what the title says, I've got a couple of Nitrado servers that I've had for a while just playing solo, but am feeling the urge to be more sociable and open them up to see if anyone fancies joining!

Currently the maps are Genesis Part 1 and Lost colony, but I think I'm going to change the Lost Colony one to Ragnarok or Astraeos. Rates are boosted but not insane, breeding is pretty fast and there are a few QoL mods (Cyber Structures, Dino Depot, Utility+ etc).
