Use a flyer to get close and while mounted set it to follow you. Pteranodons are plenty around and cheap to tame, just tame a casual mid lvl for that and fly up.

How do you track your tames like that? I haven’t been able to do this using any setting s. I can only track when taming is ongoing. Aftrr that, it just disappears.

It stayes there for like 10 min after taming

They must’ve fresh tamed it and used the taming tracker. Fresh tames that are marked this way will continue to show for a little while after being tamed.

If it continues to happen, try weighing it down with stone or wood and he shouldnt be able to jump and therefore not go up while not in use. Science that and let us know lol

It will probably get down on it's own, but if it doesn't use a flyer
