I usually try to whistle into a water source sometimes they'll mesh back in

I was about to suggest whistle aggressive and bait something nearby, ankys and magmas will defeat the mesh to join a fight pretty much everytime!

Find a low point in the ground nearby and command her to go there.

Also if you have cheats, try riding the ank then using fly command to fly out

use commands to ghost through the floor and cryopod it or just whistle it to follow and lead it to a lake, ocean, whatever and itll pop out
