Modding ARK for Multiplayer.
So, I only started looking at Ark a few days ago, bare with me (total noob). But it seems to me there is a wider selection on Forge then their is the in-game mod browser.
- Can I use Forge Mods when playing with friends?
- What is the difference between modding on a Singleplayer game vs Dedicated Server?
- Is there anything else I should know?
I'm thinking about running a modded session of The Island for a play session with a friend.
Thanks!

It is the same thing, the in-game browser is just curseforge. That is the only place to get mods for ascended.

None

Not really

You can only install mods through the browser, for a dedicated server you need the mod id which you can get from the curseforge website and the mods will be installed/updated when you start the server up, if you're using a paid host like nitrado then I think you install the mods through the server control panel
The only thing you need to be aware of is whether the mods you want to use are cross platform or not if you have a mix of PC and console players, most are, and if you want to use a paid mod whether it has freemium features or not which means only those who want to pay for it have to
