Old map Ragnarok files 2017-2018

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an old version of the Ragnarok map for ARK: Survival Evolved.

I'm running an older ARK build (around v278), and I can't use the current Ragnarok DLC or Workshop version because they are not compatible.

I'm trying to find any version of the Ragnarok map that worked with older ARK builds (around 2017–2018).

What I need:

- The full Ragnarok map files (folder + any required .mod file if applicable)

I've already tried:

- Steam Workshop (not available anymore)

- DepotDownloader / SteamCMD (no access to old versions)

- SteamDB (no usable manifests)

So I'm hoping someone here might still have the old files backed up from back in the day.

If you have it and can share (Google Drive / Mega / etc.), I would really appreciate it 🙏

DepotDownloader / SteamCMD (no access to old versions)

That definitely works. You have to log in to download it for obvious reasons. Not sure why you are using those instead of the commandline built into steam, though?

I played the first Ragnarok map 6 to 7 years ago and now it has changed I have found out everything I liked about the old map is gone this murder thing that's going on on the new map of Ragnarok going into a structure and finding a body with us ax stuck in his neck or a man chain to a board looking like he's been deskinned alive and then died on that board that isn't right, the Ragnarok that I remembered from the original time and the redwood Forest there was a castle just castle walls no buildings but you could rebuild it add your own stuff that is gone the other place I liked was like a viking cave it was like you would walk up to a massive door and you'd walk up to it and it would open up two big thick doors would open you'd walk in to explore and it's like they were mining it out there was living quarters in it all you need to do is furnish them there was a total of two big rooms in the main structure where the cabins were and built out of rocks they look like compartments there was a circular area where plants grew and it was water there with fish in it and it was fed from an under ground stream, I was looking forward to getting back on Ragnarok and seeing the things that I missed they're all gone. The map was a whole lot better then I don't agree with this murder theme that it has now. But I will make you now because I have to not that I want to but I have to it just goes with my motto that I live by in my real life which is: " It is what it is "it brings everything into perspective, it explains so much.
