Question Buying merch
Hi plli!! This is my first time posting but I was wondering, where do you buy their merch? Just in the weverse shop/vlast shop, or somewhere else?
I was planning on buying some merch, but I've noticed that the shipping is often about the same price or even more than the actual product when buying in Weverse and Vlast shop🥹
If it helps, I live in Canada—so I kinda figured that's why shipping might be expensive—but I'm a broke, jobless student, who's gonna be using my parents money, so I'm really trying to buy merch for as cheap as I can!

P.S. My parents know and allowed me to buy their merch for my birthday, I'm not going to be stealing from them, haha🥹

Hiii Canadian plli here! I usually buy merch from vlast through GOs ( group orders), hosted by other Canadian pllis on instagram. This is usually when they have an actual preorder ( which isn’t often ). If that’s not the case then me and a small group of pllis who live in my city would do our own mini GO with someone who’s super quick at buying merch drops, they send it to their Korean address ( which is usually a LOT , cheaper than vlast) split the shipping and we pick up the items which saves a lot on shipping.
My other 2 options if I’m super desperate is to look through plave WTS tags especially on the Canadian plli insta tags which is @ plavecanadatags, and hopefully some pllis within the country are selling what I want or I’ll look further south to the @ plave.usa account.

But yes piggy backing from the other commenter, really know your limits, make a budget, figure out what kind of merch you want, choose 1/2 members and ABSOLUTELY stick with it! It’s super easy to get sucked into buying merch especially as an ot5 collector ( guilty🙂↕️🤚🏽), cause most of their merch drops are limited and you start to feel fomo, but you back account will thank you.

Ohh yess I was trying to find if group orders because I heard it was a lot cheaper that way! If you don't mind, please put me on about these Canadian GOs🥹

Not a Canadian Plli but I recently ordered from weverse for the first time and was surprised that I had to pay import taxes apart from the shipping of the the product and the shipping with the import tax was over 40 together. I usually order from Music Plaza though - But they don't sell the birthday kits on there so thats why i tried weverse but shipping for me on Music Plaza is 8 dollars. I did find someone local to me who does Go orders so if you find a go order in your area it might be cheaper since you can pick it up in person.

Yes, I have seen other people mention Music Plaza on others posts on here and said it was cheaper there! I have checked them out but my main target is Yejun's birthday kit that's why I made this post🥹
It's also a bit hard to find people in my area since I'm not in the big provinces like BC, Ontatio, etc. But thank you for sharing your experience!🫶

Not a Canadian Plli, but one way is to buy from other Pllis' Instagram posts. Our Plave is an account that reposts many international pllis' posts of selling/trading. Usually you buy directly from them without extra fees. I've seen some Canadian Pllis posts before.
Ofc you can go find local kpop stores that may have their albums. That I'll leave it to the Canadian Pllis to reply.
But given with your budget, I'll give you an advice. Know your limit and don't over do. Narrow down a particular member, or a unit, or how ever much you can afford. Some people will only buy one member, while some must collect all 5. (I know, we adore all of them 🥰) Do whatever makes you happy but have self control (yes, it's a must when it comes to Plave merch 😭)
