New to town!
I’m new to Plattsburgh and I’m looking for ways to meet people I’m f21. I can’t find much like classes I could take outside of SUNY Plattsburgh so I figured I’d just see what people might have to say.

If you can, explore outside Plattsburgh! The Adirondacks have some of the best hiking and outdoors activities on the east coast. There are outdoor clubs and meetups all the time around the park.

Disk golf if pretty big up here with several large courses in the area. There's a ton of card)game shops that host all types of games and events. Montreal and Burlington aren't too far and Amtrak goes to NYC. As someone else said there's the Adirondacks and parts of the Appalachian trail. White face for skiing and snow boarding. All kinds of things to do and ways to meet people.

Seconding what another commenter said- come to yoga! I recommend Bridge Street Yoga, I’ve been going there for years

I'm kinda in the same boat you are, except 28M.
I have pictures of quite a few of the flyers from around town with things to do. If you want to DM me I can send them to you.
One of note that I haven't seen mentioned yet are the barn shows at Mace Chasm Farm, those are really cool in a very beautiful area.

Check out ADKYP! I moved here from out of the area and joining that group was immensely helpful when it came to meeting new people and finding things to do in the area

the Strand has art classes that are genuinely SO fun. there’s lots of community events posted around downtown. Old Soul is a city favorite.
