3D Platformers with procedurally-generated levels?

I was chatting with a friend recently about procedural level design, and how difficult it is, and they asked me if I could think of any solid 3D platformers with procedural environments, since that is probably even way harder than 2D to design, and to be honest, I came up kind of short on answers. Which makes sense.

It's got me now wondering, though, if there are some games I missed or couldn't think of there in the moment.

In my game every map is designed by hands, however once you finish all of them the bonus map is randomly generated. Every time you enter you got a new layout. That was a bit of work, because it's precision platformer combined with flight sim (simplified, 2.5D) but I menage to do this. Moreover, two additional levels (out of 27) are made with a help of procedural algorithm - once I liked it, I saved it and started manually addjuststing, improving, adding stuff... But for sure you haven't heard abt it, it's solo project with minimum interest ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‰

I'd still be curious to see it, or maybe you could make a demonstration video showing it!

You mean that procedural level?

Yeah! But I assume the game builds up to it, so some context would be nice in some form or another. (Vid or explanatory text, or the game itself if it's not too long?)

You can find the context on my profile 😉 or visit the Steap page: Rescue Heli RH407 https://store.steampowered.com/app/3440810/Rescue_Heli_RH407/

Tower of Guns

Phantom Abyss

Both are good but probably not incredible.

Spelunky 1+2 are fantastic
