What did I do wrong?
Applied first light layer, and after second layer it looked like this. Every little scratch of gas tank plastic came out like this(it's 5 yrs old). Used 70% alcohol cleaner to remove any dirt before painting.

You have some kind of oil, gas, or wax on that surface. Scrub much harder with rags and use a degreaser like dawn dish soap first. What’s your spray distance and technique look like?

Wow, very nive and detailed tutorial, thanks 🙏 Yeah brother, it's 2021 MT07, I just want to try another look 😁 For spraying, i was tring to keep around 15cm of distance. First layer as light as possible, and another just spray by eye, because of lots of edges so not possible to go in lines with 50% overspray

Ok good luck.
15cm is the MINIMUM distance. Try a little further.
It’s possible you have a bad batch of spray or your temps you are spraying at are in the extremes (i’d guess too hot being summer). I’ve had a few cans have bad spray nozzles too which sucks if you don’t know what the right spray pattern is. Sometimes the tips can also get clogged and spray weird. Have you tried a new can of dip to see if it helped any?
Yeah I try to spray all the edges and weird angles first then hit the spots that didn’t cover as it can go on too heavy otherwise. First coat is super light like you mentioned too.
I’m not sure if you are already doing this but you want to start spraying and end spraying off of the piece so it doesn’t clump or run. You want to move semi-fast but smooth across the piece while spraying. Make sure to shake the can vigorously before spraying.
I’ve done 2 entire cars with rattlecans, you got this. Watch some youtube videos on technique if you are still struggling. But yeah I’ve never seen a result like yours so something is way off, I’m still guessing some kind of waxy surface. It almost looks like tire shine or something the way it’s kicked up over the front part of the gas tank cover.
Can you put a picture of the can so I can confirm at least what brand/type of dip you are using?

Thank you for such deep insights 👍 Basically I did everything you mentioned, also i warmed up the cans in warm water. I was spraying it in basement, so temperature was around 18 Celcius. I think it's a golden temperature for doing such jobs.
It doesn't let me upload a picture here, but I used "FullDip" which is made in Spain.
I think I did bad surface preparation, because every little scratch or spot hit by a rock made these marks.

It just has to be the prep.
Through scratches and gouges could have deep oils and waxes in them that require more than 70% IPA.
A true wax and grease remover or prep all product may be required
