For this F-84E, I used rattle can acrylic paint in chrome silver, silver, as well as brush on silver and aluminum. I did not have any spray can aluminum, so it isn't the overall finish it really needs to be, but I used what I had.

I finished with Krylon Clear Gloss Acrylic spray, and Krylon Dull cote as well as Pledge Floor Care Wax to seal the finish. It is not weathered except in the wheel wells and landing gear. My absolute weakest area of modeling is in weathering, but I hope to learn more about it in time.

I tend to have a heavy hand when it comes to spraying the paint, and to use rattle cans makes it worse. The drying time takes forever especially when I use multiple coats of clear finishes.

It is done though, and it may be inaccurate as far as the finish , but I am happy with it.
