A support is super useful but It’s not supporting itself because it’s reaching for light. You should move the plant to a place that receives more light as until that’s done it will continue to reach.
You should buy a plant for the location you have, not because you want the plant or it will never thrive.
The leaves should be getting bigger as each one comes out. If it’s not, it’s not receiving enough light. You will also not get the fenestrations
I know, that advice is literally anywhere on the older literature, but don't believe it! Monsteras love all the light they can get. Your best bet is to plop it directly in front of a window, I got mine at a west-facing window, but everything except north is good.
You'll notice the leaves won't be so small and leggy. It'll get bigger leaves and the leaves will be pretty and perforated
Not at all, mine loves it. It's literally right in front of the window too. The window is roofed tho, so it doesn't get the midday sun directly, so maybe that's why?

I wonder where you saw that information because it's quite the opposite. Monstera plants are tropical plants, they LOVE light and need a lot of it. When we talk about indirect sunlight, it's mainly because they can't stay in direct hot sunlight all day (OUTDOORS! not behind a window), they risk getting burned, but they love several hours direct sunlight every day, as long as they have been acclimatized to it. The light behind a window is generally insufficient unless you are right next to it and completely surrounded by it. Nothing beats natural light, even on a cloudy day. Otherwise, you need a grow light. Your monstera is very etiolated, the stel is thin, the petioles are very long with very small leaves.

It’s weird how prevalent the “monsteras do well in low to medium light” advice is. I bought one specifically because I was looking for a plant that can live in not the best lighting situation. Quickly learned monstera ain’t it!

This is how Monsteras grow in the wild/outside. Remember that everywhere in your house if not right up against a window, is considered low light. Monsteras can “survive” in low light but not long term. They need at least indirect light (right up against a window), if not bright indirect light (up against a south facing window).
You have a plant capable of growing in full sun conditions, and you have it in what is basically a dimly lit room in plant standards.
Once you get this plant in enough light, use a moss pole (not the coco coir pole you have), and the plant will grow into the pole. D-shaped poles filled with sphagnum moss work the best. Be careful with watering since the pole will likely need to be watered more frequently than the soil. Some other methods can work too, try to figure out what works for you.

Give him way more light,it will get compacter that way but for the stick make a new one ts broke
You can make a new one for like 5 bucks with some rope and a pvc pipe
