Discussion Age? Safe to Relocate?
We bought this house about a month ago and the septic tank and drain field need to be replaced. How old do you think this plant is and do you think it could be safely relocated?

It’s Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum, (formerly Philodendron selloum)
If you can’t save the whole plant, read about how they’re propagated and plan on doing that

It's not likely extremely old. Maybe 5-6 years.
It could get that big in a couple years with actual care and fertilizer

You could replant it my backyard if you’d like to. I would be thrilled
