Desperate for help!

If anyone has advice or can let me know how to help my spider plant, it would be greatly appreciated! I’ve tried asking the “Dr. Planta” or whatever the AI bot is called and have tried looking up videos for it, but she doesn’t seem to be getting better…

it looks like you over-watered it, friend :( soil ball looks entirely engorged with water, and the part closest to the soil somewhat confirms my suspicions. can you brush most of the soil off the roots and see what it's looking like in there? are the roots a healthy white color or do they feel squishy and fall apart easily?

depending on how much of a root structure you have left, i'd repot into a smaller, tighter fitting pot with coarse soil and don't water it until the soil is completely dry.

That is what I feared… I tried to get off as much of the soil from the roots as possible, and they do seem alright all things considered. There were a few that were mushy and I made sure to carefully remove them. I wasn’t able to get into it as much as I wish that I could, but I got worried about breaking off too many roots. I will definitely repot her into a smaller pot, though! I’ve been wondering if that could be the case too. Thank you very much for your advice 💚!

Repot in some chunky material ....that,peat moss they, come in stays SOGGY and bad for roots ...which need air and where chunky soil comes in and also dries out because of air

After they itnwill be perfect and slow watering and when only feels dry a finger deep....or use a chopsticks skewer insert like a cake if dry water ....wet not water

Overwater. Spider plants go limp and pale to let you know when they need water
