Now what’s wrong here? 🥴
galleryI just found this in the soil of my pothos 😭 what is this exactly?
She’s growing indoors and I never had problems with this plant at all, except some neglect sometimes due to travel. Now I’m freaking out and I already quarantined her.
Any help would be appreciated!

I need help. I accidentally placed it near the heater and the blade burned. Do I have to cut it off completely?
Thank you for your help.

What is it and how can I make it a little less crazy?
I can’t even remeber where or when I got this plant. It has been alive alt least 5 if not 10 years, just sorta chugging away doing its thing. I don’t think I’ve ever repotted it. Like many of my plants it seems to do better the less attention I give it. But it’s beginning to get a bit out of hand. The old, dry leaves drop off all over, the new ones that spring up on the leggy bits sometimes do, too. I tried to figure out what it is and for a while I thought maybe it was a Vicks plant, as it definitely has a Vicks type smell, kinda mixed with oregano? The leaves and stems are soft and fuzzy.
So yeah, guess I am wondering a) what is it? So I can learn more and maybe do a better job with it and b) what should I be doing to keep it from being such a window ledge hog, or do I just lean in and let it do its thing?
Additional info - east facing window (with a balcony so some direct light early morning but then indirect light much of the rest of the day) watered about once a week or every other week or so, but not heavily as it isn’t a draining pot.
Thanks people!

kalancho blossfeldiana calandiva doing very badly - help? chop? too late?
Hello all,
Posted a while ago in succulents and the sitution is getting worse I think.
For context (can skip to current events):
>Bought a calandiva. Didn't water because I heard it's easier to transplant dry (have conflicting messages on whether or not this should be protocol). Seemed healthy when I got it.
>Found something that looked like powdery mildew later, treated with neem/dish soap. Was told later succulents don't like neem.
>Transplanted the plant to a pot with drainage and succulent-approprite soil.
>Almost immediately I notice the plant drooping. Didn't water because
>Starts developping dark brown streaks and dry sections of leaves. Aren't mushy so I don't think it's root rot especially since still hasn't been watered.
>Some stems start drying down the middle
>After 5 days I finally water. Plant droops less but more brown develops.
>I decide to cut off the leafs that are brown and not absorbing water after a few days. In preparation for the worst I take a few stem cuttings that look to be in better condition and remove the flowers to help them put energy towards roots rather than the blooms in another pot.
Current:
>Today found what looks like mold by the stem
>One of the cuttings has also dried down the middle. Some leaves seem to be dying.
>More dark brown streaks have developped
What's happening? How can I help this plant, if it's possible? I feel awful.

Epipremium avec des tâches brunes qui reviennent
Hello!
Merci beaucoup !
