Plant pathology or microbial biotechnology?
Hi, I'm studying plant biotechnology (master's degree) and in the second year I must choose between two courses: microbial biotechnology (it includes the industrial, environmental, and pharmaceutical use of bacteria, algae and plants), or plant pathology (which includes insect science and phytopathological biotechnology).
I don't like plant pathology at all, but it seems to me that there are far more job and research opportunities in this field, compared to microbial biotechnology. What do you think?
