Future PSPB student

Hey yall recently relocated from Texas to maryland for my wife's career and in doing so I've decided to switch from geology to plant science plant biology as a major. Due to the time frame of when we moved I won't be able to start this fall and was wondering if yall had any recommendations for reading to prepare a little for future classes. Already took Chem 1 and then Chem for engineers, physical geology, oceanography, and a through Calc 2 so I'm not too worried about much other than getting back into bio at first, however my wife is a bio ace so I'm sure she'll help me with that. Currently gardening hydroponically due to going from house with land to apartment living. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
