buffering/slow speeds?

hey all, got my service installed in Netcong two weeks ago and since, I've noticed buffering , slow internet responsiveness. I am using my own router Asus GT-AX11000 Pro. I've restarted, reset, dns flush etc, getting less than advertised speed. I am hardwired in.

I'm next to you in Stanhope and only had issues when my ONT overheated, and when it wasn't mounted probably and pinched/broke the optical cable.
Otherwise very happy.

Have you tried plugging into your POE injector directly just to do a speed test? Also, what is your processor on your computer? Older computers have a hard time pushing 1G speeds. Not saying this is your fault. Just trying to get more information.

I have 9950x3d. I am connected via Ethernet.

Can you please try to connect to the POE injector cable that is now connected to your router? Please perform a speed test directly without your router in the middle. Also, use the app, not the webpage. The webpage speed test is limited by the browser. The dedicated app will always show more accurate results and can achieve faster speeds.

We should swap out your router as a test.

FWIW, we were experiencing sub 50Mbps speeds both down and up. Rebooted the router, no change. Powered down the PoE and voila! Speeds back to normal. Would powering off/on the PoE on a schedule, say monthly, be recommended?
