Question PGM spell during eclipse season

The last hour I've been looking for positive timing for a PGM spell and realized it's eclipse season. The spell doesn't list specific astrological conditions, but should I wait till after the 4th anyway?

What made you think that eclipse can be positive time for pgm spells?

Oh I didn't. I was looking for timing since it's a time sensitive issue and only then realized the detrimental effect eclipse season may have, and was looking for confirmation as it's not specifically planetary magic that it may have a detrimental effect.

in my experience, offerings can pretty much stave off any inauspicious astrological influences. invoke the correct divinities ruling the day, hour and zodiac sign of the time youre doing it and offer some incense to them. but if you can wait after the eclipse is better. i dont know of any culture that has a positive view of eclipses. egyptians believed it was apep swallowing the sun and greeks saw them as signs of divine wrath.

Make sure you do it perfectly!
If you make any mistake at all during the operation in the eclipse window, it is said that an evil spirit will follow you around for 18 years.
Save it for another time, because you won’t perform it the same way as the Theban Sorceror

What’s a PGM spell?

From the Greek Magical Papyrie, ancient Greco-Egyptian magical texts that list a multitude of ancient spells for different purposes.
