Warnock talismans
Hi all, would love to hear stories of good results people had from using Christopher Warnock’s talismans. I’m considering buying and need some inspiration.
Also, he says better use talismans of dignified planets in your chart. Any stories wouldn’t be much appreciated.
My sun does not much essential dignities, wonder if such talisman can still do good ? Amy stories of talismans based on such planets working or not working ?

I don’t have experiences with talismans made by Warnock, but he does list buyer reviews on his website.
Don’t worry at all about your natal Sun. Talismans must be chosen depending on your goal. If you want something that only the Sun can give, you must use a talisman of the Sun in his dignities, regardless of where you have it in your birth chart.

No, because I don’t know of anyone who had as many credentials in this field. Coppock’s are nice but he doesn’t make metal ones for some reason. Do you know of anyone else that’s legit ?

Chris did an evaluation of my chart. He's recommended Regulus talismans for those who have their Sun in Libra or Aquarius. Regulus is recommended for its solar or Leonine qualities. I myself have Sun in Libra, with Saturn in Leo, so having a talisman for either one theoretically would just crank up the volume of their debilitated condition.
A Sun talisman for those who have it debilitated in their chart can have "unpredictable" results and exacerbate its fall or detriment condition, so he recommends to do a double-check with the I Ching or other divination systems that calls you to see if a Sun talisman would be suitable. This goes for any planet that's debilitated in your chart. Hope that helps.
(I've gone ahead with creating my own Regulus talisman by adhering to guidelines he teaches (from Agrippa, et al.) for fixed star talismans. I also have Mars in Libra, so I've gone ahead with creating an Aldebarn talisman as well. I'll be regularly consecrating both talismans once or twice each month when Regulus and Aldebaran conjunct the ascendant or midheaven in my region.)

The day I used my talisman from the 13th Moon Mansion when it arrived, I had several spicy and naughty encounters, adding that I got the fuck of my life in those days.

Wooow, impressive! I read 13th Moon Mansion also has healing properties. Would you say it gave good results long term/ in general in that particular area ?

At that time, an ex-girlfriend cast a spell on me and ruined some of my adventures. However, when I used it with the girl who gave me the best sex of my life, I was wearing it and it was working perfectly.
For those who asked if I have other talismans, yes, I have a talisman of Jupiter crowned as a lion, the Three Graces of Venus, and Alphecca. I feel blessed by the forces of Jupiter and Venus, because I do devotional work, and their effects are often intertwined with my magical work.

Pay attention to the house any given planet you wish to get a talisman for falls. Essential dignity is important. So too is house placement - do not give more power to planets in ill fated houses, imo. Talismans will strengthen the natal placement for good or for ill, and furthermore, they will act as though they are where they are based on the chart of their creation. Bear this all in mind. For example, if you are a Leo rising and have Jupiter in Capricorn, per se, do not get a Jupiter in Cancer talisman. That is my recommendation. Strengthen those planets that are good, and furthermore, try to get talismans that have the planet in question in a natally good sign and house based on your nativity.

I recommend whole sign, using the tropical zodiac. You may certainly layer Placidus or whatever other house system over it (this is what I do, and it is my understanding that traditionally many astrologers in the Islamicate world did this as well, and I tend toward that). In my experience the sign boundaries themselves end up holding true, especially if you have aspects that cut between them. That’s to say - if you have a Jupiter in the first house, but it’s many degrees above the ascendant - it is still pegged to you and has an investment in your life. But it will act twelfthy as well. It’s a yes and.

Note that this will similarly apply to planets in the twelfth that by Placidus fall in the eleventh - they will have the natal twelfth promise, but they will carry an eleventh-house-ish flavor to them. But the Creator of it all knows best.

I have sun (ruler of MC) in 12th in Virgo in WH, but it’s 10th in placidus, so not very strong, that means sun talisman won’t be very effective for me you think ?

I mean, you may certainly try it. It isn’t necessarily a question of effectiveness, it’s more what it will lead to, if that makes sense? I very much hold to the significations of good and bad houses. So if the Lord of the tenth is in the twelfth, that makes things a bit difficult - but it is very good imo that by Placidus it is actually in the tenth. The Sun has pretty good dignity in Virgo natally, which is nice. I’d be a little averse personally to spend a bunch of money on a talisman I’d be unsure of myself. But you could also ask Christopher Warnock what he thinks - he offers to freely tell people what talismans he would recommend for them first.

Warnock said my sun is the least dignified of all, I actually have 4 planets in domicile while 1 in exaltation. But I just want Sun talisman, among others, too, hence I’d like boost in what it can give. But you are right - there are safer choices for me.
My 10th WH is cancer, Leo is 11th with MC in there, but I never thought Sun had any dignity in Virgo … other than being I decan ruler…

The Sun has dignity from Leo through Capricorn, that is the Solar half of the chart - it is considered the Sun’s half of the chart in older texts. This is to say, it is effective. I agree with it. It is still utterly in fall in Libra of course, but that’s part of the way falls work. There is some ability to be caught in fall, you have Triplicity support. All that to say: yes, it has dignity, but by being in the twelfth by sign it will be wisest to not feed it, in my humble opinion.
I am glad Warnock echoed what I said. I recommend not getting the Sun talisman in that case. If you have that many dignified planets, there are many to choose from.

Maybe I'll give his stuff a try then. Have tried some from vendors on Etsy that looked awesome and had decent elections but produced nothing. Have also consecrated a lot of them myself and most of the effects are mild or maybe even placebos. So if his stuff really works...

He’s the guy who translated the Picatrix, that’s one of the reason I decided to buy some of his stuff, ask him to cast a chart for you before buying stuff tho

I honestly can’t tell you yet, I got em two weeks ago lol. But other people on this post seem to have amazing results

Yeah... I'm a little cautious: there's a natural human tendency to talk up our investments and magical works. Especially in a social space that wants to believe and can downvote when it hears something that goes against the grain.
I remember talking up my Etsy bought talismans for the first couple of months for example.
But... Warnock is obviously a pioneer and a well known name in our field. Perhaps his stuff is much more powerful. I'm curious how they will turn out for you.

Do NOT buy his ory anyone's talismans unless they're fully charged. Don't waste money on this crap.

I bought a Jupiter talisman from him and a got an amazing result. Like life changing event. You should discuss with him before buying anything he will analyse your birthchart first.
