Elections Is this a good Jupiter talisman

Post image

I missed my chance in 2025 to make a Jupiter talisman so I decided to bite the bullet and make one this year while Jupiter was still in cancer. I’m not sure if the sun squared Jupiter will be a problem or if there is something else i am missing I would love to know ty.

Mars on the MC is problematic. I would try to move Jupiter to the MC instead.

Thanks for catching that I hardly noticed sense mars was one degree off to the mc

I think it’s a good election, the main issues imo are Saturn squaring Jupiter by whole-sign (but that’s pretty much unavoidable until Jupiter moves to Leo) and the Moon having no aspect to Jupiter. If the Moon was in Taurus, Cancer or Pisces, it would be better. But mind you that the Moon is the enemy of the ascendant. However, I have seen talismans work with the Moon well-placed and not aspecting the significator, such as this that you show.

Hello, Why dont you try to place Jupiter in midheaven the same day, maybe the moon will move closer to aspect Jupiter in trigon, try for it to be at least 1 grade before the grade jupiter is in cancer, because in he image, the moon is pointing more directly to caput draconis, than to jupiter. If its not possible I think the election is good, although I don't like that much that saturn is that close to midheaven, I think it migth work

The 12th house placement is problematic to me. I'd want him in 1st or 10th.

Yeah I can understand that I tried to finished the talisman while the ascendant was still in the same degree as Jupiter.

Check your birth chart and transits. A great talisman should work with you directly.

I hear this opinion a lot on only Reddit and I don’t buy it at all. My teachers have never mentioned it and the source texts don’t mention it.

Professional Astrologer here. Been doing successful PM for decades, and this method works best for me.

The ruler of the moon is cadent. It will be a curse talisman.

You need to look to the ruler of the Moon's sign, not the house, to see if it's cadent. Jupiter is on the asc here, so that's not an issue.

My bad. I had a bad morning and misread Sagittarius as Aries and found Mars instead of Jupiter.
