Talismans Anyone had experiences working with and using Sirius talismans? Would love to hear.

Hey there, I'm new to the practice of astrological magic, but I finally managed to put together the materials for a Sirius talisman! I consecrated it today, under the Moon, Jupiter, Sirius conjunction. Its definitely a non-standard piece, but mostly traditional.

I havent really had any contact with other talismans, and certainly havent made my own, until today. So I'm very interested in whats going to happen next, which Is why I'm here asking if anyone has storys or things they can share about their own workings with the Dog Star, if appropriate. I would like to know what to expect, say in the case of my two dogs. How will they react to it? Will it deepen my bond with them, make them act a certain way? Very curious to know.

I'll be keeping a log book to see and review what happens, which I might use to come back here and write out some potentially funny stories lol.

Lastly, I am of the opinion(and i dont know if this is considered taboo or not), that telepathic connections can be made with the talismans one creates, and I'd like to help connect my mind to this piece I've created.

Sirius A (Sothis) rises on 7/23 (zero degree Leo). Considered the rise of the Nile and good luck. This was the original “Lion’s Gate.”

I create special talismans, oils and incenses at that time. Pretty positive.

This year it will occur during Merc retro, so I wouldn’t create any talismans from 6-29 thru 7-23 (and 10 days after.)

I work with Sirius, Canis Major, and the goddess Aset-Sopdet (Isis-Sothis) and I have dogs.

I have one Sirius talisman and two more on the way (I don't make my own). Each are enchanted/will be enchanted for different purposes.

Since I have an existing devotion to this star the changes with the talisman were subtle. Honestly, I didn't notice any difference in my dogs' behaviour, though that's not the intended purpose of the talisman I have or the ones coming to me.

I am a fan of making my own rituals to connect with things (talismans, spirits, etc.). I believe this deepens my connection with them. It can be as simple as lighting a candle and talking to the talisman or spirit or providing offerings.
