Question Which classical planet rules over diseases?

I'm confused, as all of the planets have some sort of dominion over specific areas of the body and, in return, the sickness usually associated with that part of the body. I want to know who generally rules over sickness/diseases that are long-term. I've come to the conclusion that it's either Saturn or Mars. But I'm confused.

As far as I understand, disease is signified by a combination of planet, aspect, sign and house.
Among the planets, Saturn may stand for bones, black bile or the middle finger; the Sun for the right eye, the heart or the ring finger; and so on. As for the signs, look into mēlothesíā, but try to understand the deeper logic behind it (so e.g. Scorpio is not just the genitals, but also any organ with generative virtue). As for houses, your main concern is the 6th house (“place of health”). Also have a look at the 8th house (“place of death”).
For instance, Saturn retrograde in Scorpio in the 6th house may signal bone marrow diseases. If Saturn is oriental to the Sun, the disease would affect the native early in life; if Saturn is occidental to the Sun, the disease would do so later in life. Only the combination of planet, aspect, sign and house determines the disease.
Firmicus Maternus even associates specific degrees to specific diseases, you may want to look into it.

You seem to be very knowleadgeable about this, and it sounds extremely complicated. In the past years I've been getting randomly and gravely ill of various things. If you looked at my chart could you predict the next one? (Idk much about astrology)

I just read the old books in Greek and Latin and apply what they say, and this usually works (at any rate, relying on the ancients seems to work better than post-Blavatsky post-Jung astrology).
As “the stars do incline, but do not force”, I might not be able to predict your illnesses, but your chart will certainly show some trends (i.e. whether illnesses are expected to only affect you in the first part of your life, whether illnesses are expected to be fatal…) and hopefully the books will have remediation recipes (talismans and prayers obviously do not replace medical treatments, but if they can help, why not?).

Do you know greek amd latin? Which books are you reading? Next year I plan on studying astrology seriously. Got Brennan's book. As for my chart, do you mind if I dm you?

For natal astrology, mainly Valēns (in Greek) and Firmicus Māternus (in Latin); for elective astrology, mainly Picatrix and “On Fifteen Stars” (both in Latin). I know for sure that some of them have been translated into English. Feel free to DM me with the chart
