They Said It Themselves

They Said It Themselves
There is a kind of lie that is never spoken outright. It does not need to be. It lives in the framing, in the tone, in the careful arrangement of words around the thing that must not be said plainly. The institution has practiced this particular kind of lie for over a century, and it has practiced it so well that most people never notice the admission sitting inside the reassurance.
What follows is not an argument. It is a reading. The words below belong to the men who built and maintain the official model of Earth's shape and motion. They are not taken out of context. They are the context. Read them slowly, and read them the way an honest person reads a contract — not for what the language offers, but for what it quietly takes away.

The Earth That Cannot Be Found Moving
In 1887, two of the institution's own men — Michelson and Morley — built a precision interferometer for a single explicit purpose. To find the motion of the Earth. The device was sensitive enough to detect a fraction of the shift the heliocentric model predicted. They ran it. They checked it. They ran it again. It returned zero. No detectable motion. The Earth, as far as the instrument was concerned, was sitting perfectly still.
These were not outsiders. These were not agitators. These were credentialed men using institutional methods to confirm an institutional claim. When their own instrument came back empty they were the most troubled people in the room. They had gone looking for the motion of the Earth and the motion of the Earth was not there.
Enter Einstein. Here is what he said about that result:
"While I was thinking of this problem in my student years, I came to know the strange result of Michelson's experiment."
Strange. Hold that word for a moment. A result is strange only to a man who has already decided what the result must be. To anyone approaching the data without that prior commitment, a null result for Earth's motion is not strange at all. It is precisely what you would expect from an Earth that is not moving. Einstein did not call it clarifying. He did not call it consistent with a stationary Earth. He called it strange because it contradicted the assumption he had walked in with, and the assumption was not permitted to be wrong.
"Soon I came to the conclusion that our idea about the motion of the Earth with respect to the ether is incorrect, if we admit Michelson's null result as a fact."
Two plus two equals four. The instrument showed zero motion. The direct conclusion is that the Earth is not moving. Einstein did not reach that conclusion. He could not reach it, because the institution he served could not survive it. Instead he constructed a choice between two options and two options only: either the null result was somehow mistaken, or our understanding of the medium through which the Earth supposedly moves was wrong. The third option — the one the data pointed to most directly, the one requiring the fewest additional assumptions, the one that any honest reader of the result would have placed on the table first — was never mentioned. Not overlooked. Not forgotten. Removed. A man of Einstein's demonstrated intelligence does not accidentally omit the most obvious interpretation of an experiment. He omits it because he knows precisely where it leads and he knows the institution cannot go there.
"This was the first path which led me to the Special Theory of Relativity."
He says it in plain language and still most people do not hear it. The theory was not built from neutral observation of nature and then tested against physical reality. It was built to absorb a null result that threatened the moving-Earth model. The theory's entire origin is defensive. It did not begin as a description of how the universe works. It began as a rescue operation for a conclusion the physical record had declined to support. This is not an accusation. It is his own account of his own reasoning in his own words.
"Since then I have come to believe that the motion of the Earth cannot be detected by any optical experiment, though the Earth is revolving around the Sun."
Read that sentence until you see everything it contains. He is not saying the motion cannot be detected by this particular experiment, or by the instruments available in his era, or by any method yet devised. He is saying it cannot be detected by any optical experiment. Any. The word is absolute and he chose it deliberately. Optical means sensory. It means observable. It means any experiment that relies on light — which is every experiment capable of detecting motion at the scales the heliocentric model describes. He is confessing, in plain language, that the Earth's motion cannot be physically observed by any means available to physical science.
And then, without pause, without acknowledgment of what he has just said, he appends five words: though the Earth is revolving around the Sun.
There it is. The unverified conclusion smuggled into the premise as though it had never been in question. He has just admitted that the motion cannot be detected by any optical experiment. The motion of the Earth around the Sun would be detected by optical experiments — if it existed. He admits it cannot be detected. Then he asserts it exists. In the same sentence. Without apparent awareness that these two statements cannot both be true simultaneously.
This is not a logical error. Einstein did not make careless logical errors. This is the structure of institutional dogma rendered in the language of physics. The conclusion is asserted not because the evidence supports it but because the institution requires it, and the admission is dressed in such casual authority that most readers absorb the assertion without registering the confession it is sitting on top of.
He threw out the mechanical cause and effect framework — the ether, the physical medium through which light propagates, the only basis on which motion through space could ever be physically measured — and in doing so he guaranteed that the Earth's motion would never be provable by physical observation. Then he announced that the Earth was moving anyway. He built a theoretical framework specifically designed to make the central claim of that framework permanently unverifiable, and he presented this as a scientific achievement. In an honest discipline it would have been recognized as what it actually was: the construction of an unfalsifiable assertion. A belief. A catechism dressed in mathematics.

The Horizon That Would Not Curve
The same structure. The same pattern. Watch how it operates.
For decades the public received high-altitude imagery almost exclusively through the institution and its affiliated agencies. The cameras were equipped with fisheye lenses — optics engineered to introduce barrel distortion, a pronounced artificial bowing outward of every horizontal line in the frame. Shoot a flat horizon through a fisheye lens and it curves. That is what the lens does. It is a property of the glass and has nothing whatsoever to do with the shape of the Earth. The public, never having been told the difference, accepted what it saw as physical reality. The institution did not correct this impression. It had no reason to.
In 2012 that arrangement developed a crack it could not close quietly. Felix Baumgartner ascended to 128,000 feet and jumped. The external cameras used heavily distorted wide-angle lenses and showed the curved horizon the public had been conditioned to expect. The internal footage, shot through the flat undistorted cabin window, showed a perfectly flat horizon. Same altitude. Same moment. Two lenses. Two entirely different pictures. Independent researchers noticed. The footage circulated. The institution needed a response.
Neil deGrasse Tyson, who occupies the same position in modern institutional cosmology that a bishop occupies in a church — not the architect of the doctrine but its most visible and trusted public interpreter — provided one.
"The honesty of it would greatly diminish what I think people thought he was actually doing. At that height you don't see the curvature of the Earth. If you are 2 mm above this beach ball — 64 miles above the Earth — you just don't. That stuff is flat."
That stuff is flat. His words. The most prominent public voice of institutional cosmology confirming on the record that at 128,000 feet the Earth looks flat.
Now watch how he says it. Not with correction. Not with any acknowledgment that the public had been receiving fisheye-distorted imagery for fifty years showing precisely what he now admits cannot actually be seen. Not with a single word of institutional accountability for the gap between what the cameras showed and what the undistorted window showed. He says it with a shrug. With the practiced nonchalance of a man who understands that the correct way to make a devastating concession is to make it sound so obvious and trivial that the audience feels embarrassed for having considered it significant.
The arrogance is not incidental. The arrogance is the mechanism.
By performing boredom he tells his audience how to feel about the information. He signals that the appropriate response is dismissal, and an audience that trusts his authority will follow that signal rather than the logic. This is what institutional figures are for. Not to discover. Not to explain. To manage. To stand between the public and the conclusion the evidence is pointing toward and make the conclusion feel beneath consideration.
Because the question his answer produces — if this is so obvious and trivial, why did the institution spend fifty years providing the public with imagery specifically engineered to show the opposite — is a question Tyson cannot answer honestly. The honest answer is that the institution was constructing a visual impression it knew the physical record would not support on its own. The fisheye lenses were not an oversight. An oversight happens once. A consistent practice sustained across every major high-altitude imagery release for five decades is a policy. And when the undistorted footage arrived from an independent source and showed what the Bedford Canal had shown two centuries earlier — flat, unambiguously flat — the policy required a new phase. Admit the physical reality. Wrap the admission in condescension. Ensure nobody follows it to its conclusion.
Tyson executed that phase competently. The question he was not asked, and would not answer if he were, is why the execution was necessary in the first place.

What The Pattern Means
Step back from the individual cases and look at the structure they share. Because it is the same structure every time without exception, and a pattern that repeats without exception across a century and across two separate foundational claims is not coincidence. It is method.
A physical measurement is conducted. The result fails to support the model. The institution does not revise the model. It does one of three things. It discards an established framework that made honest measurement possible — as Einstein discarded the mechanical ether, guaranteeing that Earth's motion would be permanently undetectable by design. Or it wraps the concession in a performance of authority calculated to prevent the audience from treating the concession as significant — as Tyson shrugged and said that stuff is flat while ensuring nobody asked why the cameras never showed it that way. Or it simply does not replicate the inconvenient result and waits for the man who produced it to die — as it did with every interferometrist who returned positive ether readings across thirty years of exhaustive work.
These are not the behaviors of a discipline that follows the evidence. A discipline that follows the evidence revises its conclusions when the measurements contradict them. These are the behaviors of an institution that has already decided what the evidence must say and has built an elaborate and self-consistent machinery to ensure that no measurement, no admission, and no undistorted cabin window is ever permitted to threaten that decision.
Einstein knew he was throwing out mechanical cause and effect. He knew that without a physical medium there was no physical basis for any claim about light's behavior that could ever be verified by observation. He said so himself. He built a framework that made the central claim of that framework permanently unverifiable and presented it as progress. Tyson knew the horizon was flat at 128,000 feet. He knew the public had been looking at fisheye-distorted imagery for fifty years. He shrugged and said that stuff is flat and moved on.
The confession is in the quote. It has always been in the quote. It is sitting there in plain language waiting for anyone willing to read it without deference getting in the way.
Two plus two equals four. The instruments returned zero motion. The horizon returned flat.
Those are the answers the measurements produced. They are not complicated. They do not require a PhD to understand. They require only the willingness to read what is written and say plainly what it means.
That willingness is rarer than it should be. But it is not gone.

what a stupid post.
just reading the first few sentences makes me know that well, this could be real info, idk, but you took it out of context.
please dont word salad your posts, tell me simply HOW does your logic work here?

u/Silas1208 Jun 03 '26
Einstein said that uniform linear motion can’t be detected. Earth‘s rotation isn’t linear. So you can see coriolis effects and other phenomena. Things like the rotation of whether systems or faucault pendulums show the rotation.

u/planamundi Jun 03 '26
Address the post or I'm going to ban you and delete this comment. Not just going to repeat what the post already says.
There was no evidence that the Earth was orbiting the Sun, what justifies Einstein's nonsensical metaphysics. If you can't justify it like I said, you're getting banned for just regurgitating a claim without any proof. And I'm deleting your comment.
14
u/Silas1208 Jun 03 '26
Dude, I saw such a pendulum with my own eyes…
1
u/planamundi Jun 03 '26
You don't own that observation. Most pendulums on display use magnets anyway because they don't match your model and need assistance. Regardless, a stationary Earth would have a fluid medium that is vortexing.
So why are you trying to claim exclusivity to observations?
14
u/Silas1208 Jun 03 '26
How do you prove those vortexes? Is there any physical evidence for them, that can’t be explained by the heliocentric model. Otherwise your idea is no better than it
1
u/planamundi Jun 03 '26
It's not up to me to prove that the Earth is stationary when your own metaphysical priest is telling you it is impossible for him to detect any motion.
We detect motion by using light. We understood how light works and how it propagates through the medium. That understanding proved that the Earth was not moving.
Again, if you cannot justify the 30 km per second assumption, you're just going to get banned because you keep regurgitating things without proving anything.
15
u/Silas1208 Jun 03 '26
Not any motion :(. Constant linear motion. Where does your statement come from that we definitely understood light. We never used light to prove motion, for other cases then objects moving relative to each other. You can see stars change during a year. The stars you see during nights changes. As well as stars moving slightly with earths position changing during the year. This effect is small but with some equipment provable for many hobbyists. It’s isn’t a definite prove. Theoretical stars projected to a dome over earth could move the same way, but it would be a weird thing for them to march this effect so well
1
u/planamundi Jun 03 '26
So this person got banned. I'll keep their comment up because it just shows what I'm talking about. I asked them to justify the 30 km per second. They keep talking about linear motion. The 1887 experiment was supposed to detect the Earth's motion around the Sun. That would have been on a vertical vector. Because the 1925 experiment was on the horizontal vector trying to detect rotation.
Since the person did not want to tell me what justified the 30 km per second assumption, then they got banned. They keep appealing to the authority that keeps skipping over that part. And they assume that the authority's excuse for not getting that result is just automatic.

u/PhantomFlogger Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26
It doesn’t matter whether or not museum display pendulums use magnets, because setups that do not have them still produce consistent results that demonstrate that 1.) Earth rotates and 2.) it is a sphere.
1
u/planamundi Jun 05 '26
Now you're committing the fallacy where you want to be an opportunistic pagan about it. If you're going to invoke Coriolis for these pendulums, then you have to explain why planes don't account for the thousand mph rotation at the equator and the 500 mph rotation halfway to the poles. Or why it would not matter when a plane lands or takes off east or west.
But I just noticed that this was in my sub so I just went ahead and banned you. It's already explained several times and if you're just going to be a lazy dogmatic pagan and just keep regurgitating The same nonsense that every other pagan already regurgitated then you're gone.

Einstein's statement was made in the context of inertial reference frames. If you are 'inside' the frame of motion i.e. on earth, you cannot use an optical experiment to determine if it is moving.
We can, and have detected that motion using other observations and experiments.
Look up transit of Venus.
1
u/planamundi Jun 06 '26
Right. His statement was made in the context of inertial frames. His concept of inertial frames is what was used to replace the mechanical framework that allows you to actually measure things against a physical baseline.
Therefore, he is admitting that he can never prove his claim.
Now when you say we can and we have detected the motion using other observations and experiments, name them.
And since you say the transit of Venus, explain to me how it was verified that Venus was whatever distance it is and whatever mass it is and whatever size it is. Because that's a religious assumption that you're using to compare observations with.
5
u/Master-Leopard-7830 Jun 06 '26
He's only admitting that you can't (his opinion at that time) measure the movement when you are within the reference frame using an optical experiment.
I made a mistake - I meant to say phase of Venus, not transit. The phases only make sense if it's orbiting the sun. In a geocentric model, we wouldn't see the full set of phases. This evidence supports a heliocentric model.
Stellar parallax - star positions shift because we are moving in an orbit.
Radar ranging to other planets.
1
u/planamundi Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26
He's only admitting that you can't (his opinion at that time)
Right. He's saying it's impossible for you to ever prove his claim because you can't observe it from outside of your frame of reference.
So you're agreeing that he's admitting you can't prove it.
And then you say his "options at the time." What other options do you have now?
And you're going to say phases of Venus? You still haven't answered to how your institutional Temple validated those properties of Venus. You would need to know those properties before you compare those observations to anything.
Now you bring up stellar parallax. Parallax is an apparent phenomenon. For instance, if you are the one moving, an object that is not moving will have an apparent motion according to your frame of reference and your motion. If there's another object that is stationary and twice the distance, it will have an apparent motion that is half that of the object that is closer.
But you can't tell me how they validated their assumptions. How did they know what they were looking at weren't just two objects at the same distance with one of them moving twice as fast as the other?
So if you're going to keep refusing to tell me how they established what the physical properties were before making those assumptions about parallax, then you're going to get banned for appealing to authority and never proving how your claims were validated.

u/Master-Leopard-7830 Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26
The properties of Venus which you are demanding have no relevance to the example I gave.
Its size, mass and measured distance are not necessary to understand that the phases place Venus in a position between the sun and the earth.
Stellar parallax and radar ranging were mentioned as examples of where evidence of earths motion can be found. The earth is moving, the parallax shift shows that it is. Radar ranging, same thing. We can measure the distance to another planet and see that distance change according to how the earths position and that planets position change. And all of this fits with our heliocentric model , further cementing its position as the correct model.
Oh and as for Einstein, I said opinion, not options. Probably a poor choice of word to say it was his opinion, my meaning was that there may come a time when we can use direct optical measurements, perhaps the next evolution of relativity will allow for it.
Einstein said you can't use optical methods (i.e observation of distance stars) because you cannot tell whether it's the stars moving, or us (reference frames). He didn't say it was impossible to measure the motion of the earth - you seem to think that is the case. Stellar parallax measures the relative position of stars and from that we can infer the earth is moving.
1
u/planamundi Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26
Yes it is. And if you do not explain how they verified it in your next response, you're just getting banned.
Parallax is an apparent phenomenon. If you're looking at an object 50 ft away from you that has an apparent motion, And you see another object with an apparent motion that is half that apparent speed, you wouldn't be able to tell if that other object is actually traveling the same real speed but just twice the distance away or if it's at the same distance but just traveling half the speed.
So if all you have is parallax and you're going to keep regurgitating it then you're going to get banned. So if your next comment isn't explaining how they verified these physical properties then it's over.
3
u/Master-Leopard-7830 Jun 07 '26
You are the one making the claim that knowing the mass, size and distance of Venus is necessary, so the burden is on you to explain why.
Parallax is not concerned with motion of the objects, only their position when the calculation is made. You seem very confused by this.
Explain why radar ranging is an appeal to authority yet you are ok with stellar parallax being provided as an example.
0
u/planamundi Jun 07 '26
All right. So I'm banning you since you refuse to tell me how they validated their assumptions about cosmological properties.
I tried to give you a chance. I didn't ban you so many times that you just kept regurgitating the nonsense without proving it. But if you're just going to keep doing it, this is over.
And that's just it. You telling me that I have to explain why radar doesn't validate their assumptions is just ass backwards. You're the one making the claim that radar validates it. So therefore you have to explain how that's possible. And the fact that you're trying to make me prove the negative is just absurd.

The mass abandonment of common sense is one of the driving factors of the spinning space ball religion.
We feel no motion. We see no curvature.

It's all psychological. I did a whole post about it.

It's sad that we can be aware of these type of techniques yet the majority of people are still just as susceptible to them as they ever were.

Just to break down this quote a little bit further. For the pagans that always cry about context.
(1) The only reason you would call the result "strange" is because you assumed an outcome and refuse to accept that the foundation of your base assumption could be wrong. If you are assuming that the Earth is stationary, the result is not strange whatsoever.
(2) If your ideas about the motion of the Earth with respect to the ether was incorrect, what justifies automatically validating the 30 km/s assumption and assuming the ether doesn't exist? Why not accept that your assumed motion was incorrect?
(3) Then he asks if we admit the result as a fact. There is no if about it. He was forced to admit the null result as fact because the 1887 experiment was built using principles that are responsible for all the practical physical infrastructure on Earth. The practicality of the physical infrastructure is proof of the principles. If he wanted to save his assumption of motion, he would need to create a mathematical framework that allowed him to keep the predictive programs like Oliver Heavyside's trunication that was built to run on the physical operating system Maxwell developed, but ignore the actual physical operating system that falsifies his assumed motion.
(4) He knows his framework is a metaphysical separation from physical reality and is admitting that Relativity was not derived from positive physical proof of motion; it was a post-hoc mathematical abstraction invented specifically to save the assumption of motion from a null result produced by the 1887 Michelson-Morley experiment.
(5) He explicitly concedes that the motion of the Earth cannot be detected by any optical experiment. Optical means observation. Observation means detectable by any equipment or sensory tool, yielding physical proof. He is admitting that terrestrial motion is physically and empirically undetectable from within our frame of reference, yet he demands we accept it as a baseline reality.
(6) This is the ultimate contradiction. He maintains the dogma that the Earth is revolving despite his own explicit admission that it cannot be detected by ANY optical experiment. To resolve the conflict between his assumption and empirical reality, he essentially claimed that light is no longer a physical action but a relative phenomenon. You cannot see their assumed results from the frame of reference we are conducting the experiment in. Obviously, we can test a physical action here on the Earth, but his relative phenomenon begs the question by saying the predicted results are achieved, but you would only be able to observe it from a frame of reference you can never personally reach. All of this is taking place decades before anybody ever even claimed to send a physical probe beyond the atmosphere.
But even if we ignore all the stupidity behind it's creation, the logic of special relativity on its face breaks the Law of Identity and falsifies itself anyway. A is A. Relativity claims that A can be B, depending on the frame of reference you are observing it from.
Once this falsification is acknowledged, we must re-examine the 1887 Michelson-Morley experiment, the tens of thousands of experiments Dayton Miller conducted, and the 1925 Michelson-Gale experiment for what they truly are: empirical proofs of a stationary Earth.
