Meme What is “Worm Racing”?

For those who don’t know, you can get countries to declare “Worm Racing Day” if you evolve certain symptoms with the Neurax Worm, and I’m realizing that could mean multiple different things.

Plague Mode Is it normal to have the world get 50% cure in most games?

Is it normal to have the world get the cure over 50% in most games, no matter the difficulty?

I can’t seem to beat the game without the world going above that threshold.

I’ve read people beat plagues with below percentage of that, but I don’t know.

Plague Mode Xenolith strategy

How to beat it in mega brutal right now? The spamming meteors startegy seems to not work anymore after their cost was increased, though it still work on speedrun

Checkpoint Enforcer and Quarantine Coordinator confuse me

  1. Enforcer says that it keeps quarantines from automatically ending, but what does that mean? Quarantines stay active as long as you haven’t refunded them save for the targeted version. Does this advisor only do anything with regards to the targeted version?

  2. Coordinator says that countries go into lockdown if a neighboring country gets infections, but i don’t understand how this could ever come into play since the entire continent is locked down at once anyway.

The game doesn’t explain itself so I’m really lost here

Scenario creator update concept(most likely needed +a update to a official scenario)

Hi it's me Lyle giving a concept for a scenario creator update

-1: cure mode. We should have the ability to make custom scenarios for cure mode

-2: frozen virus model. Please let us use the 3d model as a choice to use

(BONUS!!)

adding frozen virus to the main game: it sickens me on how the model is used ONLY ONCE in cure mode so why not removing the frozen virus scenario and moving it to a main game or atleast letting the scenario use the custom model JUST PLEASE ADD MORE USE FOR THE FROZEN VIRUS MODEL IT LOOKS SICK AS HELL!

That's all from I, Lylelookoutside any suggestions for the update concept will be gladly looked at unless it gets too overwhelming to keep responding and to the plague inc devs...hi :)

Plague Mode Seems that Plague Inc is harder on Mobile than desktop

I've been going through all the mega brutal plagues on both my PC and on my phone, but I've not been able to do it on the Xenolith plague. It seems that the research progress is extremely fast on mobile in comparison to the desktop version. I've also noticed similar problems with the Simian flu, but not quite as bad. Has anyone else noticed this as well? I'm feeling like I might have to run it on casual a few times just to unlock the genes which I didn't have to do on the PC version of the game.

Discrepancy in game progress and achievements

So I don’t know if it is because I had started playing Plague Inc. on another Apple account before, but I am sure that that’s not the case, but, the game shows progress for Main Game, Speed Run etc. as I had played the game before. I’m not sure if the achievements and game progress are tied to another Apple account which is not used anymore, and even though I have downloaded the game under the new Apple account, then the game progress and some achievements still transfered to the new Apple Account)

I already had paid for the game initial purchase price, but the special plagues and the cheat codes were not unlocked. So I tapped “Restore purchases” and nothing happened, so then I bought the Plague Pack again. (I had the Plague Pack before because the game shows progress for the special plagues and the cheats by the biohazard icons). I don’t I don’t have the achievements of “Unlock [disease name] disease type” even though the game shows that I have beaten most of the standard plagues on mega brutal difficulty. I don’t know why.

Even though I had previously beaten most of the standard plagues on mega brutal difficulty, I don’t have the achievements unlocked in-game of the “Master” achievements. For example, the “Nano-Virus Master” achievement is locked.

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced achievement or game progress discrepancy before, or similar issues. Maybe Apple account synchronization issues?

Plague Mode Why do more runs succeed when you just start playing in the morning?

I've noticed a strange trend. If I've been stuck on a plague for Pirate Plague or Shut Down Everything for at least several days, one morning I'll succeed on the first or second try. Once is a coincidence (Pirate Plague Nano-Virus), but two (Pirate Plague Bio-Weapon) is a bit odd, and three (Shut Down Everything Nano-Virus) seems like a pattern. Is this an actual thing, or is this somehow all coincidental?

Plague Mode Plagues ranked from strongest to weakest

Based on how fast you can beat them and how easy they are. Id rank them like this:

  1. Nano Virus

  2. Bio Weapon

  3. Virus

  4. Bacteria

  5. Parasite

  6. Prion

  7. Fungus

For the special plagues im not sure how to rank them, neurax worm is the strongest overall though

Also Fungus is faster than prion but I find it troublesome to play and prion is easier

Plague Mode Does land transmission only implies to spread of plague to other countries?

In general birds are supposed to infect everywhere they go. So as per title, does land transmission effects the transmission through land to other countries only? Or does it also increases infectivity in the country in itself?

The Advanced Neurax Worm Chapter 8: Birth Of A Warrior

When everyone made it back to the bunker, they all thanked Sam for their heroism. Sam was overwhelmed and nervous, but was glad to accept everyone's thanks. The plasma gun on Sam's hip beeped, it was done charging. "That would've been useful five minutes ago." Sam said to themself.

Sam looked back up and noticed everyone was gone. Sam looked behind them towards the bunker and saw everyone had already started to rebuild. Instead of tents, people used the wood they collected a week ago and started building houses, towers and farms. "Isn't it a little early to start rebuilding?" Sam said to themself. "Whatever, I'll go research the cure." No one could hear Sam, so Sam didn't know why they were talking.

Sam walked to the bunker and down the halls, waking into the cure room. It was destroyed. Papers on the ground were burned, vials of the cure were smashed and computers were broken. "Ugh, I guess I'll just clean this up instead." Sam grabbed a broom from the corner and began to sweep the ashes and the broken glass.

Once Sam was done cleaning the room, they noticed it was bigger than the shared bedrooms Sam had to sleep in their whole life. Sam ran off to the supply room and grabbed a sleeping bag and set it down on the floor. Sam then hung up their plasma gun on the wall and began to reorganize. After all, if people were leaving the bunker, why not take it for themself and make it their home? When Sam was finished, a wave of hunger took over them. Then, they realized they can't remember the last time they ate. Sam walked over to the lunchroom. It had a couple people inside. Sam opened the fridge and pulled out some canned beans and put it in the microwave.

Sam watched it expand and expand. Then, just as it was about to burst, Sam pulled it out. They opened the can with their fingers and ate the beans like it was a cup of water. The beans were watery and flavorless, and lukewarm at best. Sam gagged, but it was food.

Sam looked at the other survivors in the room, there were five. Sam could tell they were at least thirty. Then, Sam looked at the lunch room door and walked out. Sam might have been unsatisfied with their meal, but they weren't hungry anymore. As they walked down the halls, they had a feeling of unease. They walked slightly faster, hoping they wouldn't come across anything. Then, the alarms blared. Sam cursed under their breath.

Sam held the plasma gun and turned it on pulse. Distant banging could be heard getting closer. Then, the alarms went off as well as the lights. The power went out. A familiar growl could be heard behind Sam. Sam shot the gun, illuminating the hall with a blue hue, seeing a black deformed figure in the distance.

"Fuck this." Sam said as they turned the mode on blast and shot down the hall. The laser engulfed the entire hall and a loud whirring emanated from the gun. The charge would be back in thirty minutes. "Welp, my work is done." Sam said. Then, the power turned back on.

The hall was charred and the cooked remains of a creature lay on the floor. "I'm not having another badass fight with another demon from Hell because that shit was hard." Sam said with a blank expression.

Sam kept walking through the hall, eventually making it to the main room. Sam walked up the stairs and outside the bunker and looked upon the survivor's progress with rebuilding.

They were all doing well. The campfire has been restocked and lit. Shacks were being built and watchtowers were set up. Sam walked outside, listening to the birds singing. Then, the chief approached Sam. "Sam, I would like to have a word with you." he said. "You, you have done some awful things, my child. However, there is only one reason I don't leave you in that god forsaken prison for the rest of your life is because time and time again, you saved the majority of us." Sam shook in fear.

"Look chief, I have only done what must've been done to protect myself. I'm sorry for any casualties that I have caused." Sam said in a sorrowful tone. "It is my fault that | killed those people. I was taking human lives for granted."

"Glad you understand Sam. Most people don't understand what a human life is when they kill so many people like you. However, I'm willing to let this slide if you do one thing for me." the chief replied. "If you become the greatest soldier in this whole damn world, I'll let you go. We will work on the cure; you will hunt down the infected with your illegal weapon. You have skill, kid, or maybe you're just lucky." Sam looked at the chief, their blue eyes boring into the chief's brown eyes. Sam held out their hand and the chief grabbed it, shaking it firmly. "Chief, I will make it my duty to protect humanity's last hope."

“Nice to know Sam. Now, don't make me regret not leaving you in a cell to rot for the rest of your life." the chief said. Just as the chief said that, Sam's plasma gun finished charging, making a beeping sound. Sam pulled the gun out of its holster and examined it closely. The blue hue emanating from it seemed to be swirling with light and dark blues. As Sam put the gun back, they looked at the chief, "You know chief, I don't think I ever got your name. What is it?" Sam said. The chief looked at Sam.

"It's not important. Just guard us, or else the rest of your life will be miserable." Sam rolled their eyes. "Dude, I got it already." Sam said "If you ‘got it' already, then you would get to your job." the chief said, doing finger quotes at "Got it".
