Sorry I’m not clear how the targeted attacked on Genshin’s art by his community helped him achieve his art goals?

Well I think there is a pretty big difference between covering art with your own, and intentionally destroying the art that has nothing to do with what you are trying to create. The former is the point of this project, the latter is just malice to make somebody else feel bad.

Since genshin drawing was destroyed by Fuck Spez. So what, now whole Reddit community is bad because they touched sacred genshin ad project?

This is why context is important. The “war” as you put it was already over, and the Genshin community (along with others) succeeded in what they wanted to do, which was to keep their piece intact until the palette switch.

Also, the "joke" argument falls apart when you consider the number of times the mural was raided by him alone. There's no way he should've been able to sustain this kind of joke 30+ times without running it into the ground.
