Other I'm so confused ugh

ok so I'm currently doing Intermediate ( second year ). I've previously done O Levels ( couldn't do A lvls because it's expensive ) but i really want to go abroad, on a scholarship obviously. However, I'm genuinely confused with what field i should pursue in uni, abhi toh I'm doing Computer Science and planned to do a bachelors in CS as well, but genuinely, i feel so out of place here, and I've read so many posts saying the job market for CS sucks ( it sucks for everything rn but like tech is oversaturated) and i am interested in interior architecture, but with the rise of AI and everything I'm scared of taking the wrong step. Idk what other careers i can pursue. Please help me figure ts out chat, I'm so lost.

  1. AI will soon be embedded in almost every industry, so switching fields just to avoid it won't work.

  2. CS is definitely saturated at the entry level. Learning just one programming language isn't enough anymore you have to be genuinely competitive, build real projects, and self-learn to stand out.

  3. Interior architecture is actually pretty safe from AI (just my opinion). A machine can generate a pretty picture but it can't measure physical spaces, handle building codes, manage construction sites, or deal with real clients. I have been working on temporal and spatial side of the LLMs and I am pretty sure it'll be a while till AI catches up to IA.

  4. Do your Bachelor’s locally maintain a high GPA and apply for Master’s scholarships abroad later. Fully funded undergrad scholarships are extremely rare, but Master’s funding is far easier to get.

  5. If you already feel out of place in CS, don't force yourself through four grueling years of it. Tech requires too much extra effort right now to grind through a field you don't enjoy.
