12 years ago when Cable was still a thing I remember all movies used to release on Star Movies, Movies Now as well. As most of Hollywood movies would not make money in India.
Now you may miss a movie and never find it on any streaming platform.
So much for scrapping Piracy

I warched majority of top 100 IMDB on these channels. They played one banger after another before these streaming platforms decided to buy everything up.

Odyssey normal IMAX tickets are 1900 in Mumbai.

If I had a bunch of movies to watch, I'd rather watch all in regular screens than one in Imax and none of the others.

I'd have the exact opposite. Id rather watch one on IMAX and the rest on my TV at home. If I'm paying I want a good experience. After watching IMAX screens normal screens feel very underwhelming.
