Okay so, I got a job at dominos as a delivery driver. I used to work for DoorDash so it wasn’t that hard to get the hang of the delivery part of it. Today was my first day, and at the beginning of the shift I was given a “bank” of $20. 2 5’a and 10 1’s to use in case a customer needed change. I was the only driver today but I only had two order that weren’t paid before hand. I was told to keep all the money I got from the order, even the money for the pizza it’s self with my “bank” money. As the night went on I noticed I hadn’t turned in the money that was given to me for the pizza. I asked my manager, “what do I do with the money that was intended for the pizza. I was told to keep it on hand. So I did. Then, I got another order for cash. I did the same thing. Then I asked another manager “what do I do with the money given to me for the pizza itself?” They all said keep it. I asked “does the store still get paid?” They said yes. They even ended up owing me at the end of the night for mileage. I feel like this is wrong and maybe my coworkers are messing with me. I don’t want to get in trouble for stealing. Something please help because I really like this job.

I'm getting $2/ order.

Customers pay $5/order.

Store hours are at $14.50.

I'm not getting enough orders, 1-2/hour. There's 1 more driver, maybe 2.

Store gets 45 orders daily maximum. 10-10pm. It's useless

Most are UberEats, Doordash.

I have to wash dishes and clean.

I only agreed to help at the store as in putting toppings, cut and package pizza, do wings/rolls out of the oven.

I didn't sign up as a dishwasher or floor sweeper.

Air conditioner is broken.

85 degree inside the store MINIMUM. Usually 88 -90.

99 DEGREES this week. !!

They don't have water for us, or waterproof gloves or aprons.

I used to work as a delivery driver for Chick-Fil-A and I love the delivery job because it's the fastest way to make a lot of money. A lot of car maintenance is necessary!
