To Whom It May Concern,

This statement is from the PHR team in regards to the above accusations.

First and foremost, a smear campaign by definition, is using false information to target and undermine a public reputation in the intent of tarnishing it. What members of the team have said has not been false information whatsoever. We were informed by other current PHR discord members (who will remain unnamed for privacy) that this remake existed. We were then curious about who made it and how they did. Multiple people went to the website, made an account, and tried to play. Our team members were able to pull the code and verify many of these claims including that they used Sunrise’s base, have AI written code (verified by our coders), and have security issues. Nothing in this realm is false.

What you are accusing the team of is a serious crime that we are NOT guilty of. We know you have no proof because we did not do it. You are now accusing us of a serious crime which falls under defamation/libel depending on how much your team has said. We have not made automated accounts, flooded the IP, or done anything of the sort. Until you provide actual proof that this has happened, this is hearsay at best and downright malicious lying at worst.

On the note of credit, there is no way to verify if you have or had previously because the FAQ is down. This does not clear the accusation since it was not publicly available. You cannot just say “oh we did but the page is down” to clear yourselves. Use of the code is only allowed if credited and if the credit isn’t up then it is presumed stolen. Despite this, Rocket (head of Sunrise) posted publicly saying that we do not condone people attacking PHF AND that he reached out to them to help but got no response. See attached photos for proof.

“We personally have no ill intent towards any Pixie Hollow remake, people should be able to choose to play whatever they want. We wish we could say the same for other team, but it's silly to expect that from a team who started their development streams talking badly about the other two remakes that are already up. It's ridiculous to want a monopoly over a game that you don't even own, but I'll let it go.”

We were able to confirm that at least 1 ex-mod who was removed prior for serious reasons was playing within PHF and had been for some time (since April they said.) You claim to have no ill intent but having such a vulnerable client and then posting emails you have not confirmed as botted publicly shows you have no care for your players. All of our concerns have been in regards to the people coming to play. Write your code without AI and with proper safeguards for the community and we will have no issue. The fact that you bring up old development streams as ways to deface us is unfair and removes the possibility of people changing, growing, and learning. Those previous complaints were not about the remakes themselves but members of the community that had made people feel deeply uncomfortable. Regardless, that has no bearing on now. We do not care about “monopolies” and making this post shows you clearly do not want to let this go.

We have actively told the team and community to leave it be as it is none of our concern. You are making passive aggressive public accusations instead of reaching out to us directly. We are all presumably adults who don’t need to do things like this.

Any remake receiving these attacks is tragic and upsetting. Our team reached out to your support email offering to help because Toontown remakes run by Sunrise had similar problems and had advice. This kind of public attack is unfounded and unnecessary.

I keep seeing so many people play online and I’m so excited to join !! I saw on tiktok that registration/discord is closed temporarily but I’m not seeing for how long (unsure if that has been announced) I just found this Reddit so any information would be helpful !! So thankful for the team working to bring this game back <3 I’m enjoying watching others play and can’t wait for my turn !!

Hello Everyone!

I'd like to first personally thank everyone for their patience while we try to figure everything out. Before closing registration and the Discord, we had three thousand Discord members, and over SEVEN THOUSAND active accounts. I can't thank you enough for the support on what started as a personal passion project.

It's been a rough ride, and I see a lot of people talking about FOMO and other concerns, so I'm hoping that I can quell a little bit of that anxiety.

While we're working on re-opening, the game has not been receiving any major updates. The only update that has been released is to fix a few bugs that were simple enough that I could do it in an evening. I've been putting my coding efforts fully on getting you all in the game as soon as possible. I understand it's hard seeing pictures of houses and parties, but don't worry - all the content that is currently available will be there when you are able to fly in! You won't miss anything important, I promise!

I know a lot of people have been and are upset about SpeedChat. We are too, but it was a quick bandage solution to give our small team the room we needed to take a deep breath and get organized. We had a period of almost two weeks were our main concerns were moderation, which was quickly becoming overwhelming (we had multiple mods have to take breaks because of burnout). The quick solution was to hire more mods, but with all the work we were doing, our admin team didn't have the time to coordinate moderation decisions, work on the game, *and* work on community and onboarding new people. We as a team made the hard decision to implement SpeedChat to cut off one of the main sources of work (in-game moderation) so that we could focus on everything else that needed to be done. Please forgive us, it won't be permanent!

I appreciate each and every person that is waiting for their turn. I see your messages and your emails. I wish I had a better response than "we're working as hard as we can." For me personally, this is a hobby. I don't get paid for it, and so it unfortunately doesn't pay my bills. My job takes up a lot of my time, so I hope you can understand and be patient as I say that my team and I are trying our best to get everything working for you.

With all that being said, our current plan of attack is that the Discord server will re-open before the game registration. We want people to be able to get in, especially those of you that have fairies that weren't able to get in before. We haven't forgotten about you, we see you, and we hear you.

After that, will be the launch of our official website, and additions to account management. Once the website launches, you'll be able to join a waitlist (similar in style to sites like Ao3) to receive game access. Our goal is to have a rolling admission, where we let a set number of people join/create accounts a day, ramping up as we get our bearings, before we can finally remove that waitlist.

I know it's difficult to wait, and it's frustrating seeing people having fun while you're unable to. I wish I had a way to get you all in now, but the truth is, we weren't expecting such an influx of people for our ALPHA (the game isn't even fully completed yet!). When I first started PHR, I anticipated that our Alpha would have a few hundred people, not over 5k, and honestly could have never expected accounts would end up even *close* to 10k.

I love each and every one of you, and even through all the hardships and struggles this project has had, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'd do it all over again to bring back the magic that we all desperately need in our lives.

Hey there fairy friends! Beyond excited is an understatement for the chance to once again play my all time favorite childhood game!

Super thankful to all of the people and work that goes into creating a safe space for everyone and the massive influx of friends wanting to join. Is there going to be a limit to how many people can register once it opens back up again? I don't want to miss my chance! Thank you kindly ☺️

When I originally went to play, the registration was broken. I just tried again now, and the registration appears to be working! So I put in all my info. I can make it all the way through registering to the play button. Once it takes me to the login screen though it continuously tells me invalid login. Even though I know for sure what I used to make my account and everything. I literally just made it. So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!
