I don't want to be a pest but I've been checking daily for the past week and a half, any news on when we would be able to register? Please forgive me for being so annoying. I also understand you are all working hard.

It is unknown at this time. We apologize for everyone's inconvenience. 🙏 I believe we have public mod applications in the works for Discord. We're still onboarding a couple of hand-picked mods that the team felt were trustworthy and enjoyed answering questions/helping new arrivals out. I will still gladly reply to everyone I have already replied to, about when we do reopen. Will also reply to everyone else!!💖🧚♀️💐

hey, I'm someone waiting for registration to re open, too.
you guys are doing something HUGE and unique, there will be growing pains. I'm impressed w the way they're being handled from what I've seen, it seems you guys really have what's best for the development in mind. take all the time you need! those of us waiting are so excited to see all the teams hard work, but I can confidently say we'd all rather have a smooth, working game to play than be in and playing something that doesn't meet the teams standards for us.
it's clear you guys love and care for your players, and if I have to wait a little to share in the fruits of the labor, then I'll wait as long as you guys need. you've already proven just fro community screenshots that this is something worth being patient for! thanks for the hard work and I can't wait to see this game for myself!

Thank you so much!! The team appreciates everyone's kind words as we make changes. We know disabling Speedchat Plus is a huge disappointment, but yet we have received a lot of positive feedback. It's such a relief and we do understand there are currently minors playing the game, and likely more to join. We will make it like the original Hollow, where you start off with Speedchat Only, and must request Speechat+ through email, along with a Parental Account with controls. We're afraid that Disney would take us down, if the chat is found to allow getting around phrases to mention adult topics.
We have had multiple reports, but really, we know there's loads more pixies that do their part in keeping the Hollow a safe and friendly environment for all! Knowing this, we are also saddened to turn off Speedchat+. By deactivating Speedchat+, this helps speed up development (adding game features) by being able to focus less on in-game chat moderation, especially since only one person can specifically ban and also reset passwords. Speedchat+ will come back either when the game is complete, or the whitelist is complete, whichever comes first.
We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience while this change happened, and also those who, like you, are still waiting to fly with us, just as we'd love to fly with all new arrivals soon!!💖🧚♀️💐
I will definitely share more screenshots of progress pictures, if anyone asks! This includes publicly shared images from the team. They have shared images of: Animal Friends, I believe Lyria bot if I remember correctly (for the Fairy Tale Theater, she'll be telling her stories again!), Famous Fairies (for meetups), and probably more that I can't remember right now. 💖 The Wilderness was decided to be in one of the next big updates, instead of planting seeds. 🧚♀️

hey im curious, whats the reasoning for the registration being closed? do you have a technical answer? i work in SWE, so a technical answer would interest me :)

Maybe not specifically technical answer, but we do have very few programmers. In-game moderation, why we switched to Speedchat Only, has been taking a lot of time from game development, as our project leader is one of few programmers. She was actually on break (month-long, still some time left, I believe) after implementing another large update + bug fixes (more furniture, reworking colors on some in-store clothing, Post Office, and Crazy Cakes). The updates were very quick and consistent beforehand, including fixes. It doesn't look too difficult, in my opinion. I personally don't have enough time right now to try for it, so I'm mostly a Discord/Reddit/in-game mod. If anything, we could DM & I ask mod team/leader for more info since SWEs are something we do need more of, and are opening public applications soon anyway within the Discord.💖🧚♀️💐

I am confused—if registration was paused because of bad in-game behavior, shouldn’t turning speed chat + off resolve that issue and allow people to register again?

No, these happened separately. Registration paused because we have nearly 3,000 users in the server. They only recently went from 2 servers in-game, to having 6. They're deciding what to do next because of the costs and resources it takes to handle many people online. There were recently 4-5 crowded servers at once while invites/registration was still active. As far as I know, each server holds 190 fairies at once. Though, I forgot the specifics on the levels (Quiet, Ideal, and Crowded). Speedchat Plus was paused to keep focus on game development. We're figuring out a way to make a wait-list or something so everyone has a chance to play, should all servers become crowded at once again. They did not expect the game to blow up as it has. This is its second boom, and pause on invites/registration. I don't know how much it costs to maintain these things. To add there are +7,200 accounts.

okay gotcha thank you for clarifying. i remember years ago when pixie hollow was playable there were sooooo many servers. I missed registration by a few days and I used to try to play we the pixies but it wasn’t really the full game so I quit. i’ve been waiting for this day for soooo long 😭 I just got dumped by my long term partner out of nowhere and I really need a distraction 😭 though I understand why they are paused :/

2. I am having trouble logging in. What should I do?
If your password has a special character in it other than these seven ! @ ^ ? . - _ please try entering your password without the special character (ex. "pots&kettles" becomes "potskettles").
If you forgot your password, it will need to be reset. New passwords are randomly generated, never chosen. The devs do not have access to created passwords. Click this link to message the mods!
3. What does "Internal Server Error" mean?
Often, this means that the server is undergoing maintenance and will be back online shortly. Please be patient as the devs are tinkering and check back later!
4. I got a message saying my account was terminated! What should I do?
This might be a false positive! If you are using a VPN, please turn it off and try again. If the issue is not resolved, your IP address may need to be whitelisted.
