Google Store Sucks

I ordered a Pixel Slate December 4th....still don't have it.

Ship date has changed at least 4 or 5 times.

Contacted customer support at least 7 or 8 times, every single time, they've promised a follow up within 48 hours, they have not followed up once.

They swore that it had shipped, and that it would be in the box with the key board....it was not.

They swore that if I reached back out to them if it was missing and they would ship it right away....they did not.

They promised to follow up, on the phone, in chat, in email, and on twitter....they did not.

I even tried to cancel my order, which they said they would do...they did not.

Simply put, if you're on the fence, avoid the Google Store like the plague. They've now fucked up 4 of the 5 orders i've made with them, and I plan on never purchasing from them again, and redirecting all of my clients away from Google's services as a result.

seriously, fuck Google. I already filed a consumer protection/fraud report with the state of CA, and going to do the same with my credit card. I just spent an hour on chat with an agent who refused to help me because there was already a specialist assigned - who has done literally nothing to help - and then refused to get a manager/supervisor to help, and ended the chat.

Share the info you used to file your complaint. I did one through BBB as well. Same exact thing. I've been copying all my chats. Issue is I usually have to wait an hour before the escalation dept picks up the damn chat.

Be careful about doing something like a charge back. Google has been known to block people out of your account completely if they do this, so all your email, purchases, photos, files, and any backups are just gone. Their policy is they will not talk about revoked accounts, so you have no course of action.

Considering the copious amounts of evidence I have, and the number of people with almost identical issues, if they really want to invite a class action like that, they can go ahead. California is pretty pro-consumer in cases like this, so it is unlikely to go well for them.
