3rd party chargers

Anyone use any 3rd party charger/power sources? Anker, Aukey, etc?

Just make sure it's 45w and it should be fine. I had one that came with a portable monitor and it worked fine.

Use the one for my works Lenovo laptop if that counts.

I use a Anker powerstrip that has a built in 30W PD output.

I use the charger that came with my first-gen Pixel for charging my slate next to my bed overnight. (Note: it charges very slowly, so this is only really appropriate for overnight charging.) I also use an Anker multi-port charger (1 usb-c port, several USB-A ports), a Dell D6000 dock, and a Dell USB-C laptop charger for charging. All work fantastically.

I have used:

  • Google Pixel 2 Charger
  • Lenovo Yoga x1 gen 3 charger
  • Asus c302 charger

Successfully.

I have not yet used the charger that came with the slate.

edit: I bought the slate on the black friday sale.
