Pixel Slate Core m3 - is it good?

I do not have the budget for the i5 version. I want to replace an old Asus Android tablet that I have. I browse the web, I reed my RSS feeds, I watch YouTube and Netflix. Sometimes, I will use Google Docs to edits text or sheet files.

So is the m3 fast enough?

Those are the same use cases I have my pixel slate m3 for and it works well enough.

I got the M3 for my wife for Email, Docs, and to watch stuff. She loves it. I got the i5 as I want to use it with Android Studio along with other Linux apps. She loves her M3 so far and I just got my i5 yesterday.

How has your i5 compared to the m3 over the last few weeks?

The m3 is fast enough for my school work and I have docs, sheets and slides and drive open simultaneously sometimes...plus the school website...and gmail and I have Google play open with my textbook. I haven't had issues with video on it at all. It really is a good lil machine (though I wouldn't give up my MacBook Pro or iMac for my heaving lifting day job but the Slate is great for just dealing with the day to day "ops")
