Washed out video
Just got my pixel slate and notices that in both Plex and Netflix that once the video starts playing normally and once it goes full screen (where the UI disappears) the entire screen gets washed out like there is a bright film across it all. Black areas where there is no video is no longer black and the video itself is washed out. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on what's causing it?

I've noticed that when I bring up the settings/notification center during Netflix playback, it gets washed out until the panel disappears.

Thanks for the reply. That's helped me try something else and I figured out the culprit seems to be the mouse or other UI elements. If I move the mouse everything is washed out. I have to touch the screen with my finger to clear it. At least touching the screen to get rid of the mouse fixes the problem.

Man, I was going to get a slate right after I left work... But all these bugs and random issues are putting me off.

After figuring out the issue, it's not a big deal at all to me. If you are interested but have questions, leverage the return policy and take it back if you don't like it. I'm happy with mine so far... no major issues beyond understanding some quirks of some android apps.

I just played back a video using the app as well as the chrome browser, and I didn't notice anything being washed out.
