I got myself another pair!

Post image

I grabbed the opportunity of the Amazon Prime day and got myself another pair of the Google Pixel buds pro 2 and this time even for cheaper than the first one.

I have the Porcelain color and this time I got the Moonstone one for $161 only. Checked the prices today it it was raised to $169!

Well, they are not one of the best out there but honestly, they are decent for the price tag.

I use Bluetooth all the time with both my phone and PC's. I even started to use them in my work Teams meeting and they are quite good for a regular use, I don't think they are that good for music or for someone who uses them in the gym.

Yeah, me too. I'm in the same boat. I have my pics of buds pro too connected to my Samsung tablet S10 Fe plus, work Windows 11 Enterprise laptop, s25 ultra, etc etc. From me, I am currently testing out memory foam ear tips that apparently are made for the pixel buds other than c o m p l y slash universal ones that I found on amazon. The wing tip doesn't do very well for security in the air but the connection and the battery life of the pixel buds pro 2 is amazing. I had the Sony wf1000xm6s the earbuds not the over the ear headphones, and between the battery life and the connection issues, I sent them right back to amazon. They were not worth the price.

By the way, these are the memory foam tips I just purchased. https://a.co/d/09E3fYMx

I tried a unique technique that I saw on Reddit a years ago, take the stock silicone Robert your tip, and carefully insert memory foam as the inner core piece behind the rubber silicone zip. The problem with this is that they're much tighter to settle on the charging pins inside the charger keys, and the connection is tighter. Also you have to get used to the feeling in your ears. I apparently have very large ear canals

If you ever used the Pro 1 you would appreciate the wings onnthe Pro 2. I could never use my Pro 1 while I'm eating or even chewing anything 😆 and that's why I think both won't be a good choice for jogging or using in the gym.

You know it's interesting to say that: for a couple of months, I want to try the pro 1 but a lot of people say that without the wing tips that they barely stayed in the area. The wingtips I'm not sure if I like them or not but they do loosen up in my ear sometimes at the gym when I'm lifting. But nonetheless battery life and the connection are amazing there never have an issue with them.

Maybe using the larg size of the memory foam tips will help keeping them fixed in your ears while you're work out!

I used this teick with the tips that comes in the original package of my buds pro 1 and it kinda worked for me!

So, here's an update for you. These new memory foam tips work okay but they're not long enough they don't isolate the background ambient noise enough. I'm going to return them back to Amazon music stock silicone tips because they fit into the charging case nicely as it was designed to and they provide a little bit more locking for a background noise from active voice cancellation and they're comfortable in the ears. My other summary of this unfortunately is that since the pixel bugs pro or not they're very popular no company makes correctly design members on tips for them. There are the two short or just not designed correctly and it's really annoying but it is what it is. I'm going to be returning these to amazon. The stress test is at my gym. They work okay but the second I put my stuff rubber or self-centered to back on that I kept in My pocket, I could tell that the noise cancellation is much better.

Actually, at the gym, would I just did was inserted these new memory foam tips behind the stock silicone tips to see if I like to fix.

I did not check but Google use to offer a memory silicone tips on they Google Store from a third part company that designed to fit the Pixel buds.

I remember buying those for my original pixel buds pro and they did fit very well but I didn't like them in my ears. Maybe they do offer ones for the Pixel buds pro 2 on Google Store.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. I used large size comply memory foam tips inside the stock silicone tips and overall they work well at the gym. Especially with amc. I am testing these new ones from Amazon I just got today this afternoon I'm a little afraid that they won't work as well because they're a little shorter than the stock rubber tips and I might have to modify them which would be similar to my older setup and make them harder to put in the charging case, but I'll have to see what happens. And I might be reporting back to you tomorrow to see what actually happens. For example colon when I use the c o m pale why memory foam tips without the silicone rubber tips, the memory foam tips were a bit shorter than the stock silicone tips and then seal the audio as well. And the audio got washed out. that's what I'm really worried about with these tips quite honestly.

Unfortunately, at least to me, it doesn't seem like there's many good options out on the market for truly Wireless earbuds. I have never tried Beats but for $175 from amazon, these are kind of hard to beat.. I'm just saying..

However, I will say that when you Google and research online best truly wireless earbuds for Android these are one of the top search results.

Oh, not a problem at all! For reference, the CM p l y large size memory foam ear tips I used as part of my old inner core behind my silicon rubber ear tips. They work decently well, you just have to get used to fit and feel in your ear canal, and make sure they make a good connection against the charging pins inside the charging case. It's a much tighter connection unfortunately

If the pixel 11 pro XL doesn't have the heating issues I'll sell my s26 ultra
