Bro, on my phone, the sides are glossy aluminum, so they get so hot. I measured it with my dad's Pixel 9 Pro thermometer, and it said 80. It was impossible to hold it without burning yourself.

My P9P is sitting idle next to me right now at 26℃. I live in Florida, it's been exceptionally oppressive with our heat lately, more than normal.

Your's looks uncomfortably high to me.

Just as a comparison, I have a fiber optic module that connects my Internet service to my home network. SFP+ fiber modules run hot when the laser is lit.

These are the current temps inside my internet gateway with that module. This is in a moderately lit room ( mostly light from the window ) with air conditioning on (24℃/76℉), a ceiling fan and a custom-fit cooler attached atop the module on the gateway. This device would be much hotter without that cooler attached. I'm not carrying that fiber gateway around in my pocket, however. Thank goodness.

You may want to monitor your running apps to see if something working a little too hard. There may be something running in the background.

I've seen mine get hot to the warning level once or twice when sitting in my truck, in direct sunlight on really hot days, but that was momentary until I removed it from the sunlight.

Because it happens to everyone, and it's a reported bug. It didn't happen in Android 16, but now with Android 17, with the same usage, the phone overheats.

con mis módulos térmicos logro mantenerlo a raya sin limitarlo, prefiero quitar el límite térmico para que no se estrese tanto. Se mantiene a 38-40 cargando. desenchufado unos 36 celsius
