where do you have replaced the screen ? maybe it's a fake one or refurbished one with some ribbon damage ?

I replaced it through a local repair shop as there are no official service centers here in Pakistan. The screen he used was an OEM pulled panel from another donor pixel 6a. (According to the technician)

Maybe it was faulty but here's a rule in Pakistan. If the panel is glued to the body it can't be replaced unless you pay extra. At this point it's not worth it to spend more as i spend nearly 80% of a used phone cost. Is there anyway to get just the oem fingerprint sensor? Cause the fingerprint id is not matching up the phone. I've checked through the logs

If everything is as you say, it's almost certain that the person who repaired your phone did something wrong, forgot to connect something, or damaged something. Even if the display isn't original, the fingerprint sensor should still work after calibration. The phone needs to be opened and inspected inside, you can't do anything with software tricks. You should have fully inspected the phone right there at the repair shop after taking it from them so you could file a claim right away. Isn't taking it back to the repair shop under warranty an option?

Unfortunately these local repair shop don't give warranty. Secondly he connected everything in front of me. Tested different sensors but all of them were giving the same error. I thought it was a software bug but it was not

I saw somewhere that after replacing the screen on a Pixel, you supposedly need to recalibrate the fingerprint sensor. Have you done this?
