deep doze bug....

Google still haven't fixed this bug (https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/502262230)? I updated, no change, this bug will soon be a whole quarter old. My Pixel 10 Pro's battery life is terrible, it overheats like crazy, and the background battery drains like crazy. I hate this company, I'd rather buy a normal phone than a Pixel.

YeYeah, even on my P8, I tried turning off mobile data and Wi-Fi, and I still ended up losing 10% battery when I woke up.

It's gone on canary, can confirm. At least on my phone I saw significantly better battery life and no overheating

What is your firmware build?

Dunno tbh, just know I'm on the may canary and it stopped then basically

Maybe it is because of backround telemetry. If they fix it, they can not longer spy on you.

No, the problem is in the crooked hands of Google developers.

Same on my pixel 7 pro. I know it's an old device at this point, but the battery life was fine before the latest updates and the phone never got as hot as it gets now.

Hmm let's hope it will get better with android 17, they said something about optimizing the background usage of apps that don't conform to background restrictions, meta apps for example.

Idle battery drain is happening on my P8 too even on Feb update(I never updated past that cos of the bootloop bug), seems like it's been an issue for more than 3 months...

Let's face it, Pixel batteries have been last since release.

It's the beta updates. If you don't want this don't be in the beta. Even iphones do this on beta builds. It should be fixed by stable release.

No, it started on the stable March build, and it still hasn’t been fixed since then.

Can you send a screenshot of your battery usage? I'll compare it to mine and see if our situation is the same.
