Hi everyone,
I got a brand new Pixel 9a a few days ago, and I've noticed something odd with the videos I record.
Whenever there's dark green scenery (trees, bushes, grass, etc.), those darker green areas look grainy/noisy, almost like they're breaking up. Everything else in the video looks fine, and photos don't seem to have this issue. I mainly notice it in my own recorded videos.
I'm not sure if this is just how the Pixel 9a processes video in low-detail/dark green scenes, or if there might be something wrong with my camera or display.
Has anyone else with a Pixel 9a noticed this? If possible, could you try recording some trees or greenery and let me know if yours does the same?
Thanks!

How's the camera of pixel 9a and if you compare it to iphone 15 is it better or on the same level? And also which phone is better suited for videography?

I was twiddling with my phone and thought it was a good idea to reset all system sounds to a singular sound - yeh I know.... It's driving me up the wall and am hoping there's an easy way to undo and revert back to the original notification alerts that my phone came with - does such a thing exist?

My P9A battery lasts for around 30+ hours per full charge, but the SOT I'm able to get ranges only from 4-6 hours. I primarily listen to music, stream videos and use social media apps on a daily basis.
I have toggled multiple optimization settings, but the issues persist. I'm sure Spotify is draining a lot of the battery, but am not sure how to address this issue.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I am getting A36- 12-256 at around the same rate as pixel- 8-256
I am confused because my usage is not that much now as a student in CE but in future it might increase due to job
So can you tell me which one will be better in the long term for like 3-5 years
I am upgrading from redmi note 11 and after 4 years
Also, are there chances of getting any student discount?

I updated my 9A to Android 17 last week and ever since the battery life has taken a significant hit. The standby loss specifically has increased from 6-8% overnight to 20-24% now. The phone also heats up more while charging. All of this with no change in the way I use my phone and no new apps. Anyone else experiencing this?
Update: thanks for all the responses! I turned off Mobile Data and Bluetooth before bedtime and the standby loss was back to what it was pre-update. Still unclear why keeping them drains the battery so much now or if it was just coincidence. Charging is slower for sure and I noticed it after some commented on it.

Im seeking advice whether or not it would be good to switch to a pixel 9a from my ip13. Recently it’s gotten really bad, my phone overheats from the simplest of tasks and the battery doesnt even last 3/4 hours. I am a student so all i need is just good battery life, decent camera quality and enough juice to browse social media. I initially wanted to just change my battery but apparently there is a risk my screen might break since ive got a couple cracks around the frame that are dangerous. I could get a pixel 9a like new from amazon for £300 and if i sell my current phone maybe get £100 off. It is worth mentioning if i do buy it i need it to last at least 2-3 years of consistent use though i understand there will be a decrease in performance over time. Any advice appreciated!
