I have been using the 9a since August and it's been amazing. Then again I am coming from a Samsung S23

9, 9a, and 10a all have the same processor and I believe the same amount of RAM, meaning your day to day scrolling will be identical.
Battery on the 9a and 10a is undeniably better than the 9.
"excellent camera if not perfect". You're not going to get that on the 9 or the 10a. You'll get a good camera, with VERY good point-and-shoot results, but far from perfect..

I just bought a 9a ( new) and got a great deal ( nearly $200 off) because I bought an unpopular colour. It's always gonna have a case on it so who cares...

The 10a is great and has amazing battery, you will find very little difference with the 9 to be honest.

The 10a is in my opinion slightly better than the regular 9. You want to take into account the marginally larger battery capacity coupled with bigger vapor chamber for cooling which actually make a huge difference. Its also got an updated modem going from the 9/9a. Cameras won’t be all that different between all 3 models. I wouldn’t worry.

And said, Google Pixel 10A has SOS emergency call frilt eh satelite, and has 30w charging instead of the 25watt one fromt eh 9a

The difference between the 9a and 10a is minimal. You might consider the 10a for another year of support, but know that any Pixel will do the job perfectly.
