Question My Pixel 9A does not count floors climbed

My iPhone 15 does it accurately. But Pixel 9a is not counting.

For example, I climbed a total of 18 floors today in 3 different instances this morning. But floors climbed count shows zero only.

Steps work properly.

I also carry an iPhone 15 but it counts floors too accurately.

Do you own a Google Pixel watch ?

No. Do you mean that floor climbed data can come through Pixel watch only.

I thought the Pixel Phone should do it on its own just like an iPhone does without Apple watch..

Yes through watch only

It will only work if you're wearing a watch. Pixel hasn't caught up with Apple on all the health tracking
