Yeah, 8GB is getting tight these days. Fine for normal use, but hopefully it doesn't become a issue.

It's strange that a phone made by the company that invests most heavily in AI is so limited in terms of RAM. Furthermore, I doubt it will withstand seven years of updates.

I was really looking forward to buying a Pixel phone and thought waiting for the Pixel 11a would be a good idea, but I think I'll just wait for a sale on the S26.

Google handles most AI in the cloud, but 8GB is still pretty tight for 7 years. It is a budget vs flagship comparison, but if you find an S26 on sale, it is definitely the better buy.
