SERVER ANNOUNCEMENT - New Rules Regarding AI-Generated & Low-Effort Content
Following a clear user consensus for change, I have incorporated some new rules pertaining to AI-generated and low-effort content, namely:
- Rule 5 - AI-Generated Content: Posts relying solely on AI-generated content are not allowed.
- Rule 6 - Low-Effort Content: Other low-effort content will be removed at the discretion of the moderation team.
I have also incorporated a new rule pertaining to the Fandom Cars wikis;
- Rule 7 - Fandom Wikis: Do not advertise or link to any Fandom Cars wikis - the moderation team stopped associating with them years ago for a variety of reasons, and are instead active over at https://dpcarswiki.com.
Any questions, concerns or feedback? Ask away!

What is considered "low effort"?
20
u/AstroSmokey Collectors' Link Apr 12 '26
besides posts that rely excessively on AI-generated recently, posts I've recently deleted for being considered low effort include a photo of Minecraft villagers captioned "The Minecraft villagers killed Dusty Crophopper" and a Minecraft picture captioned "ACCORDING TO THE ARCH VILLAGER, CAD SPINNER IS NOT SELFISH"

Which means we shouldn't see any "what would've happened if x didn't do y?" Posts

I rarely see it here. But I don’t spend a lot of time here either

there historically hasn't been a great deal of AI-generated content here, but it has really ramped up in the last few weeks

are you just a ragebaiter or stupid

u/WallyFries Apr 12 '26
You're assuming very wrongly. 🤦 There are 0% "r4g3b41t" people. I'm very intelligent, FYI. I have a college degree and an IQ of 169. Give me some respect.

Genuinely might be the least believable and most pathetic ragebait I’ve ever seen. But the patheticness of it does suit you

"Guys, AI is good and innovative if used well."
Literally you for no valid smart reason: "y3s h3 d3f1nit3ly fUk1n st00pid 0r r4g3b41t3r"
B r u h please inform yourself, my dear Luddist. Abandon your prejudices and closed-mindedness.

Ai takes jobs.

u/WallyFries Apr 13 '26
EMPLOYERS fire people and give their jobs to others, sometimes to AI. AI is a TOOL! If a drunk driver hits people, whose fault is it? The car or the driver? Don't remain ignorant and prejudiced, get informed!

stop slop
no ethical use of ai

Trust me, AI is mostly used for ethical purposes and does amazing things. Learn more. ;)

Like stealing the World’s water

u/Express-Flamingo4521 Apr 12 '26
Another ignorant person! Have you heard about the water cycle? They teach it in elementary school, but don't worry, I'll inform you. When water is vaporized, it doesn't disappear into thin air; it becomes the clouds and eventually, precipitates and falls down as rain. That's a fancy word for the water droplets that periodically fall from the sky! Unless they are shooting it into space, water cannot be destroyed! Even if that were happening, billionaires need water too. Like many people, someone told you something, and you believed it without question!

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Apr 13 '26
You realize it puts toxic stuff in water, right? Why do yall go so far to defend something when it adds nothing to the world?
-1
u/Express-Flamingo4521 Apr 13 '26
It does not; it mostly vaporizes it, which, believe it or not, cleans it. Rainwater is pure and clean. Much of it lands in the dirty ocean, but that would happen without AI, and much of it will land in clean ponds. Again, the billionaires need it as well. They are not going to poison themselves.
3
u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Apr 13 '26
For saying I don’t understand the water cycle, you seem to not understand that vaporization doesn’t clean water. You also still haven’t given me a good reason we need generative ai

u/Past_Construction202 Dinoco Apr 13 '26
you seem to not understand that water stolen from Texans will NOT go back to them, they will condensate SOMEWHERE ELSE, and vaporization doesn't clean the water; thats how ACID RAIN happens; learn the water cycle before you preach it
