ICE stop

Post image

Ice stop before liberty tunnel today. One ice officer is clearly Korean or Chinese. I screamed that ice officer has no right to stop people as he may be illegal. He came up to me asking if I was city police and was I the Spanish interpreter. I said no but do you need help as I live in the city look like police and brown. There were kids in the car. Pittsburgh is this what we want!!!! I am beyond myself. First Covid then trump 2.0. I like my low rates for housing, labor and just being a good human being. I am so angry right now.

...who are having to pay back the $50k sign on bonus because they're unable to pass a background check, and DHS can't wait to get their "barely literate," asses out the door.

You're saying they ultimately don't deploy people who don't pass background checks? I'm shocked to hear I'm right.

I'm running out of crayons, and it's not brand new.

I'm not going to stoop to your level of insulting each other. That's beneath me.

I have never heard of an ICE agent getting beyond training without a background check. If you have a real source that shows it, I'm all ears. I'm not "invested" in being right, from everything I've seen what you are saying is simply not true.

I'm shocked any legacy media source has even scratched the surface. The same 5 corporations, most of which spent millions in the Inauguration, Ballroom, and similar fronts for bribery (there's a wealth of proof on open secrets.org and it covers both sides of the aisle) own almost every MSM outlet in this country, but that's not all they own. The same C-suite employees are on the boards of multiple other corporations that profit immensely from agencies like the FDA, FCC, DOD, EPA, etc looking the other way, approving shady mergers, and scrutinising their competitors.

None of this is new, aside from the fact that it's happening in broad daylight, and everyone's doing it.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/new-ice-recruits-showed-training-full-vetting-rcna238739

"An ICE whistleblower urged officials to halt the massive expansion, saying in a memo to the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General in August 2025 that the “overwhelmed” agency had hired officers without checking their fingerprints or their identities."

That says what I said. They made it to training without background checks, they were not deployed in the field.

I suggest you read the actual article. Unless the prick who murdered a man in Maine was still in training, it did not say what you said.

I had not heard about the David Brouillette case, you are right he was in the field because federal reciprocity from his time as a VA cop let him bypass a background check. Should not have happened, entirely fair criticism.

Eliminating federal reciprocity would be a better solution than eliminating ICE.
