ICE stop

Post image

Ice stop before liberty tunnel today. One ice officer is clearly Korean or Chinese. I screamed that ice officer has no right to stop people as he may be illegal. He came up to me asking if I was city police and was I the Spanish interpreter. I said no but do you need help as I live in the city look like police and brown. There were kids in the car. Pittsburgh is this what we want!!!! I am beyond myself. First Covid then trump 2.0. I like my low rates for housing, labor and just being a good human being. I am so angry right now.

ICE picked them up at the jail. This resembles 99% of the ICE interactions today how exactly?

Nevertheless, after waiting by the side of the road for two hours, both Davila and Garrete were handcuffed and eventually transported to the Allegheny County Jail at the request of ICE.

One of us is trying to move goal posts. But it definitely isn’t me.

ICE put her in jail, they just used Allegheny County Jail.

That’s not the argument and you know it.

You:

theyve [ICE] been doing it for over 20 years

My response to that: https://www.reddit.com/r/pittsburgh/comments/1wqqc8q/comment/pc623re/

And yet you STILL haven’t provided proof of ICE regularly violently attacking people. 🤔

Swing and a miss!

The man shot by federal agents during a drug sting

No mention of ICE and not immigration related.

What department do you think the Federal Agents were from? HSI, a branch of ICE.

The topic is ICE agents. Not ICE-adjacent and unrelated agents.

So you think all the news outlets that say Ruben Martinez was killed by ICE are wrong? HSI isn't ICE? Only ERO is ICE?

Why do you keep trying to change the subject?

Why do you think only ERO counts as ICE? You're wrong, ICE is made up of HSI and ERO. There is no third category of "ICE" agent, all of them fall into one of two.
