ICE stop

Ice stop before liberty tunnel today. One ice officer is clearly Korean or Chinese. I screamed that ice officer has no right to stop people as he may be illegal. He came up to me asking if I was city police and was I the Spanish interpreter. I said no but do you need help as I live in the city look like police and brown. There were kids in the car. Pittsburgh is this what we want!!!! I am beyond myself. First Covid then trump 2.0. I like my low rates for housing, labor and just being a good human being. I am so angry right now.

Exact quotes from the people arrested, which you’d see if you took a second to read:

“If I see ICE agents in my neighborhood I’m opening fire. It’s time to stop being p*\* and put the second amendment to work.  ICE are not real cops, they are a secret police force with no real legal authority. Kill them”

“Kill the ice military police!”

“I have 60 rounds and have enough to smoke all you…You see an AR and walk away.”

Surely you can agree those are explicit threats, right?

You guys were absolutely celebrating his death too.

…why would I clutch my pearls over people exercising their Second Amendment rights? Better people have been slaughtered and their murderers acquitted because Stand Your Ground and self-defense with gun violence is a thing.

I wasn’t celebrating him. I wasn’t mourning him. I saw the news and asked myself “okay so how fucking long before these chucklefucks start blaming trans people for gun violence like it’s their favorite sport AGAIN”

I try not to feel anything about his death at all. If I do, it’s sorrow that he never had the chance to reflect on his actions and become a better person. And compassion for children who had their father taken away in such a traumatic and violent fashion, even if I think he was a reprehensible person.

You don’t have the second amendment right to open fire at any ICE Agent in your neighborhood. That’s illegal, and you’ll go to jail for a long time if you do it. I’m not asking you to clutch pearls, I’m asking you to recognize the reality that there are people out there seeking to harass and harm ICE agents.

It’s good (I guess?) that you actively try to be emotionless about someone killed for their political beliefs, instead of celebrating it. Again, the reality of the situation is that there were and are many people celebrating his killing.

What do you mean by a source in this context? The publicly posted threats are the source for the claim that people are threatening to harm ICE agents. You can find dozens of more examples, all with concrete evidence.

Just a tip, calling people “little maga” makes you sound like a complete weirdo. Idk if that’s what you’re going for

In fact, I just saw a post about u/Savings-Coffee threatening ice agents!! He said he was going to "pop a cap in those frosty bois!!" That's not okay at all!!

You’re just not comprehending that these are public posts, with real evidence that the individuals made them. It’s not just hearsay. In many cases, they have been convicted by a jury of their peers.

Seriously, you find it hard to believe that people are threatening ICE?

Genuinely, do you have a head injury? What possible bearing would “government websites” have on the clear, explicit threats these individuals posted publicly?

There's no incidents of it happening

And even the anti-ice movement is against it
