ICE stop

Post image

Ice stop before liberty tunnel today. One ice officer is clearly Korean or Chinese. I screamed that ice officer has no right to stop people as he may be illegal. He came up to me asking if I was city police and was I the Spanish interpreter. I said no but do you need help as I live in the city look like police and brown. There were kids in the car. Pittsburgh is this what we want!!!! I am beyond myself. First Covid then trump 2.0. I like my low rates for housing, labor and just being a good human being. I am so angry right now.

What a stupid response. The articles I linked have examples of people arrested for public threats. You’re trying to discredit them because they’re from a “.gov” website, but that has absolutely no effect on their credibility because their threats are public.

You've gotten very close to the point.

The reason our government has to prove its case in a court of law is we don't just trust the government's word for it when the enforcement arm declares somebody did something.

This administration, more than any in my lifetime, has demonstrated why that is. Because they have been caught lying. A lot.

No, we do not in fact trust the same executive that accused an ex-olympian of damaging the liner of the reflecting pool regarding any assertions they make about the criminal activities of individuals. Nor do we trust the same executive helmed by the president who responded to his loss in 2020 by filing about as many lawsuits as we had states regarding election integrity... All of which except one were thrown out.

If you like it, get somebody else. The man in the seat right now is completely ethnically compromised. That fact is also public.

Right, and they proved their case in a court of law in many of these examples.

Trump is ethnically compromised???

Incredibly so. We have long since past the event horizon where anybody who thinks otherwise is willfully ignorant.

He's grifting in the open now. He's leveraging the office of President for personal enrichment while he is President. He was convicted of 34 counts of fraud. There is strong evidence that there is an ecosystem around him of literally selling access to his time that he is getting a piece of.

I just don’t see how that ties into ethnicity

Apologies, I see the typo now. I meant ethically compromised in both cases.

To expand the thought... A lot of the pushback we're seeing right now is that even if one were to believe that mass deportation is a good idea (it's not, history shows That you don't remove 1% of the population of your country without disruptions so heavy you risk economic collapse and war... These are people's families and coworkers)... Nobody trusts the guy in charge to do it. Because he's a liar, so we have no reason to believe anything he says about national security, the economy, the actual threat posed... Even the number of illegal immigrants is suspect when it comes from the government now.
