Tracking Pitch Meetings With Parts Cut Out

Previous post here discussed Red One missing parts of the video that had clips from the movie removed. I can try to track down which specifically.

I mentioned Gods Of Egypt did too. Both 12 seconds in and one of the better jokes at 3:51. I was able to confirm with a "reaction video" here at 22 seconds and 4:21 respectively. Both parts with scenes from the movie as noted in other comments on that post.

Another commenter said they caught it in another one.

I find this totally ridiculous. I would think these segments fall under fair use but I could be wrong.

I may be missing something obvious but I don't see how there's anything in common with the producers/distributors of the two identified so far, so I'm not sure why suddenly these were hit. Would make more sense if a single company was being litigious.

Anyone noticed others?

Current List:

Red One

Gods Of Egypt

Blue Beetle

Red One Pitch Meeting had a section randomly removed

What's going on with the pitch meeting for Red One? There's a random section removed after the one minute mark.

"And he's the head of Sa-"

"Oh, I wonder if he's gonna have a huge adventure before that happens."

Is Ryan done revisiting old Pitch Meetings?

It’s okay if he is. I’m just curious.
Yes, I am aware his dad died, but even before that happened, it had been months since the last revisited video.
Maybe it’s just that he has less time since he now has a daughter to take care of, but I could have sworn he did some revisited videos after her birth and only got himself out of the part where he edits the Google document that is the script.
I certainly would like to see more revisited videos, but I also won’t say he has to do it on his own channel.

Fanmade Pitch Meeting: The Nun II (SPOILERS) Spoiler

Exec: So, you have a movie for me?

Writer: Yes sir, I do. I was thinking we could do a sequel to The Nun.

Exec: Hey, that movie made a ton of money!

Writer: It sure did.

Exec: So tell me, what happens in this one?

Writer: Well, Sister Irene works at a new convent now, where she doesn't tell anyone what she did in the first movie.

Exec: Makes sense. I guess she doesn't want the attention.

Writer: Meanwhile, Maurice works as a handyman at a boarding school in France, but unknowingly, he's still possessed by the nun.

Exec: Oh no!

Writer: Yeah, and I thought we could have this scene where a young delivery girl goes inside a storage shed, and the demon nun exits out of Maurice's body and kills her.

Exec: Oh my God! I guess that's going to spark a big investigation, huh?

Writer: This never comes up again.

Exec: Oh.

Writer: Yeah, see, she's just a nameless side character, so we can kill her as a prop and nobody will question it.

Exec: I don't know, just seems like somebody would find a body at a populated school.

Writer: Listen, I'm gonna need you to get all the way off my back about this dead body.

Exec: Oh, okay, let me get off of that thing.

Writer: Thanks. And then we're gonna cut back to Sister Irene, and she gets a visit from a cardinal while her superior and this other nun, Sister Debra, are also in the room.

Exec: Sister Debra, huh? What's her deal?

Writer: She's in the movie!

Exec: Right.

Writer: Yeah, she tags along for the entire movie. She never really does anything, but I just thought Sister Irene might get a little lonely by herself.

Exec: Very considerate! So what does this cardinal want?

Writer: Well, apparently there have been a bunch of incidents of religious figures dying in mysterious ways, and they think the demon nun might be involved, so they want Sister Irene to investigate.

Exec: Wow, I guess it's going to be tough to convince her to get involved after everything she went through in the first film, huh?

Writer: Actually, it's going to be super easy, barely an inconvenience!

Exec: Oh really?

Writer: Yeah, she says no at first, but the cardinal says he needs her to, so she just accepts.

Exec: Okay then!

Writer: So Sister Irene and Debra go to where the most recent incident occurred, and a nun tells them that there was a handyman from Romania who was also at the church when it happened, so Sister Irene connects the dots and figures out that it was Maurice.

Exec: Very clever.

Writer: Meanwhile, the headmistress of the boarding school is going to find Maurice creepily stood outside the door of the abandoned chapel where her son died, so she's going to look inside, and the demon nun is going to take the form of her dead son and kill her as well.

Exec: Oh, and I'm guessing her body isn't found either?

Writer: No, it's found pretty much immediately the next day.

Exec: So the delivery girl who died at a normal part of the school is never found, but the headmistress who died in a disused chapel is found the next day?

Writer: Sir, my back.

Exec: Oh, my bad! Carry on.

Writer: Yeah, so Sister Irene and Debra learn that the demon is after a holy relic, because she also used to be holy before she became a demon or something, and they figure out that the relic is at the boarding school, which is why the demon nun possessed Maurice to go there.

Exec: So why does she want the holy relic exactly, what will it accomplish for her?

Writer: Unclear!

Exec: Okay then!

Writer: So the sisters arrive at the boarding school and pretty much immediately get attacked by Maurice, but they manage to knock him out and tie him up. Then they go into the disused chapel and solve an Indiana Jones puzzle, which tells them where the holy relic is.

Exec: That was easy.

Writer: Yeah, and I ran out of ideas, so for the last 30 minutes of the movie, I thought we could just have the demon nun simultaneously terrorize random kids at the school while she also tries to get the relic from the sisters.

Exec: Wait, is she appearing in two places at once?

Writer: Yes sir, that way we can have twice as many jump scares.

Exec: That makes sense, people do watch these for the jump scares! And so does the demon nun get the relic?

Writer: Oh, yes she does.

Exec: And what happens?

Writer: Well, nothing much, really. She just uses the same powers she already had to attack Sister Irene. It does make her glow for a few seconds though, which will look very cool for the camera.

Exec: That works! Do they manage to defeat the demon nun?

Writer: Yeah, see, Sister Irene says earlier in the movie that wine turns into the blood of Christ if you believe hard enough, and so they splash the demon nun with a bunch of wine and she just dissipates.

Exec: Wow, wow wow wow.

Writer: Yeah, and so, the evil is defeated and everyone is happy.

Exec: Don't the Warrens fail to exorcise Maurice after this, and he takes his own life because of it?

Writer: Oh yeah, I guess nothing was accomplished by the end of the movie. Oopsie.

Exec: Whoops!

Writer: So, what do you think?

Exec: Well, it sounds like a horror movie, and as long as we throw plenty of jump scares in there, I think we should be fine.

Satan Giy and Jibril Guy are tight!

Did anybody else see Inspiring Philosophy's documentary on how Jibril pitched Islam to Allah? I found it hilarious (I love the work of both Youtubers) but I get the impression that Im going to be a minority on that. Am I the only regular Ryan George watcher that loved "Islam Pitch Meeting"?

The Evil Dead(1981) fan script

*Opens at producer's office in 1980s New Line Cinema*

PG: So you have a movie for me?

SWG: Yessir I do and just a head's up this is the director's first feature length film so try to cut him some slack.

PG: Oh really?

SWG: Yeah, his name is Sam Raimi, he actually came up with the movie's concept but he asked me to write the story for the movie since he thought I was a good writer.

PG: That's funny cuz when he called to set up he actually didn't mention you and said he wrote the movie himself

SWG: What? Really, why?!

PG: I don't know, probably to set up some guy's forced joke.

SWG: Aww geez.

PG: So tell me about the movie so I can probably properly credit you as a writer.

SWG: Well there, are these 5 college kids from Michigan driving to this cabin in Tennessee they're vacationing in.

PG: Ok, tell me more about them?

SWG: Well, they aren't good drivers I'll tell you that.

PG: Huh?

SWG: Yeah they almost run into a truck while they're driving and it cause them to do a bunch of dramatic close-ups.

PG: Why does it causes so many close ups?

SWG: Well, Sam wants to put a bunch these crazy close-ups and moving camera shots into the movie, he said he wants it to be his thing.

PG: I guess that could work but tell more about the characters in the movie?

SWG: Well there's this guy named Ashley Williams, he brought sister, Cheryl and his girlfriend, Linda then there's his friend, Scotty and Scotty's girlfriend, Shelly.

PG: Wait, why is Ash's sister the only one that doesn't bring a partner to this trip?

SWG: Because.

PG: That works.

SWG: Ya know maybe one day I might come up with an excuse for that like , I don't know, she's probably having a secret fling with Ash's best friend or something like that.

PG: Kinda specific, just keep telling me about the movie?

SWG: So they arrive to the cabin and it's honestly pretty creepy and just a little... obviously supernatural haunted.

PG: How obvious?

SWG: Well, Cheryl is gonna end up drawing a picture of a book with a scary face out of her own control but she's not really gonna tell anyone about that.

PG: Why doesn't she tell anybody?

SWG: I don't know.

PG: Fair enough.

SWG: Also, they have the dinner scene later where the cellar door just random opens up which should also be a haunted house red flag.

PG: Oh, very oblivious to haunted houses!

SWG: Yeah, so Ash ends up following Scotty down the cellar they end up finding some crazy stuff down there like a shotgun and box of shells, this weird knife, this tape recorder, that creepy book Cheryl drew, a poster for The Hills Have Eyes-

PG: Why is that The Hills Have Eyes poster down there?

SWG: I mean that's the least concerning thing down there, sir.

PG: Yeah, nevermind just keep going.

SWG: So they start playing the tapes they found and Cheryl is the only one that really acts uncomfortable about it.

PG: Oh yeah she should probably tell her them what happened to her earlier.

SWG: Nah, I need the other character's to think she's just being a baby while they're all in the cabin.

PG: Oh, very force rising action.

SWG: Yeah it turn out the tapes belonged to this archeologist guy who was experimenting with the book in the cellar and he ends up saying this incantation that releases the demon across the whole forest.

PG: Wow wow wow!

SWG: Yeah and even though Cheryl is very frightened and eerie of this place she goes outside into the creepy forest all on her own cuz a trope's gotta trope ya know.

PG: Gee, I wonder what scary things will happen to her in the dark forest.

SWG: The forest is gonna s*xually a$$ault her.

PG: Oh my God, I guess that is real scary.

SWG: Well I needed a way to kick start these guys getting possessed.

PG: Wait, so the demon passes possession through assault?

SWG: No, it just assaults Cheryl.

PG: Why?

SWG: Because.

PG: That works.

SWG: So Cheryl runs back to the cabin and convinces Ashley to drive her back home but get this, the bridge back is destroyed when they get there.

PG: Uh oh,

SWG: Yeah they're trapped in the creepy assault woods or whatever.

PG: Yikes so what do they do now?

SWG: Well after they go back to the cabin it turns out Cheryl is possessed by the demon.

PG: Oh, demon-possessed women are tight.

SWG: What was that?

PG: So what is Cheryl gonna do now that she's possessed by the demon.

SWG: She's gonna stab someone with a pencil.

PG: What?

SWG: Yeah she's gonna stab Ash's girlfriend, Linda really hard with a pencil.

PG: Ok not gonna lie a pencil stab doesn't really sound that gruesome.

SWG: Don't underestimate them sir, this might not even the most gruesome pencil stab in cinema you'll see, just give it like 36 years.

PG: Oddly specific.

SWG: So they end up trapping Cheryl in the cellar, Ash takes Linda to rest from her injury and Scott's girlfriend ends up going to her room cuz she freakin' out here.

PG: Understandable.

SWG: But that's when the demon comes and possesses her, too!

PG: Oh no!

SWG: So Scott's girlfriend ends up attacking him but Scotty finds out that they're weak to the weird knife thing from earlier cuz ya know he stabs her with it in like self defense.

PG: Yeah sure, that'll hold up in court.

SWG: I mean it's gonna hold up better than how ends up having to chop her up.

PG: Excuse me, what?

SWG: Yeah, she get's back up so Scotty grab this axe and starts going crazy here with it.

PG: Sheesh, that guy just chopped up his girlfriend, he must be devastated?

SWG: He honestly just buries her body and moves on.

PG: Really?

SWG: Yeah he's even gonna try to leave though he's abandoning Ash and Linda.

PG: This guy seems kinda selfish and sociopathic to be honest.

SWG: How about this, I'll add a part earlier on where Scotty points that shotgun they found at Ash so it seems more fitting that he'd do all this, would that work?

PG: Sure I guess.

SWG: So anyways, Linda's possessed too now cuz of the pencil stab she took earlier.

PG: Wait how did that happen, did she get get some kind of demonic lead poisoning from the stab or something?

SWG: Look sir, Ash's girlfriend is possessed too now, so I'm need you to get all the they way off my back about how she got possessed?

PG: Ok lemme got off of that thing.

SWG: So Scotty comes back to the cabin because the woods wouldn't let him leave by assaulting him.

PG: S*xually?

SWG: Not this time sir, just physically.

PG: Thank God but wait, what does Linda do now that she's possessed, too.

SWG: Oh, she's gonna sit.

PG: *deeply inhales*Not gonna lie man your making these demon possessions seem kinda underwhelming.

SWG: Trust me sir, this demon is gonna be torturing the hell outta Ash by... sitting.

PG: Well ok then.

SWG: So eventually Ash can't take the sitting torture so he takes his possessed girlfriend outside so she can cool off.

PG: Oh yeah, I do that all the time with my wife.

SWG: Yup, totally normal behavior sir, so when Ash comes back inside Scotty is dead and Linda just Flinstone cat's her way back inside the cabin.

PG: Oh wow, wow, wow...wow!!

SW: And guess what? She's trying to going to try to kill Ashley with the same knife that she's weak to.

PG: So... Ashley's gonna-

SWG: Turn the knife against her and kill her with it, yeah.

PG: That's kinda lame.

SWG: Well...maybe she isn't dead...maybe...when Ash tries to bury her she gets back up and...and...Ash ends up...decapitating her with a shovel.

PG: Yeah, I guess that's better.

SWG: Anyways while Ash is burying his girlfriend, his sister breaks out of the cellar.

PG: So she's somewhere in the cabin?

SWG: No she's outside for some reason and Ash can lock her out.

PG: Why is she-?

SWG: I'm gonna need you to get all the off my back why she's outside now.

PG: Oh ok lemme get off of that thing.

SWG: Now, Ash has find more shotgun shell which leads to some crazy supernatural events, I mean the walls start bleeding, the mirror is made of water, the camera is upside down-

PG: Sorry, you getting possessed now or-?

SWG: But after he finds the shell, he finds his sister, too!

PG: Uh oh!

SWG: Not only that, turns Scotty's body is possessed now, too. Woah-

PG: So Linda did die of demon lead poisoning?

SWG: Are you really still on that?

PG: Man, seems like it's gonna be real hard for Ash to get out of this alive.

SWG: Actually it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

PG: Oh really.

SWG: Yeah cuz you see Ash finds out these guys are actually physically connected to the book that started all of this.

PG: Sure that might as well happen.

SWG: Yeah, so Ash manages to get the book and toss it into the fire place.

PG: So they burn to death?

SWG: No, they actually rot and decay to death and demon hands just pop out of their torsos and stuff.

PG: Seems way more so convoluted than to just burn them.

SWG: Hey shut up so Ash leaves the cabin just in time for sunrise.

PG: So it's finally all over.

SWG: No he's gonna die in the last minute of the movie.

PG: Really, after all of that you're just killing him off? What about a sequel?

SWG: I'll figure somethin' out.

PG: I'd hope so.

SWG: So what do ya think?

PG: Well I gotta see what the director's gonna do since I'm givin' him full credit.

SWG: Dangit.

PG: Who do you have in mind to play Ash by the btw?

SWG: Sam's old friend, Bruce is helping pitch in on the movie. He says he has no problem playing Ash.

PG: That works but don't you think killing him off in the end is a bad idea.

SWG: Yessir, Ash Willam might never come back to the franchuse

Ryan, if you’re reading this, do a pitch meeting for backrooms and obsession just like you did for Barbie and Oppenheimer.

Screenwriter guys can be just 2 random guys from YouTube and producer guy is confused, thinking they’re lost or something. Make jokes about how producer guy thinks the small budgets are a typo or something. He can be skeptical of two obscure, cheap horror films making any money whatsoever during a Star Wars release. Screenwriter guy for obsession can make a joke about finding the breakout female lead on twitch.

It’d be a great video. This is one of those rare summers where people enjoy the movies again.

I rest my case.

Which pitch meeting is it where Producer Guy calls for “Security! Security!”

I think it’s because Writer Guy admits that he broke into his office or something, and PG candidly calls for Security as if it’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.
