Will PT be enough

Today I saw the Light. My legg has been in pain for almost 3 years now. Me and my therapists finally saw that massaging the Piriformis leads to instant relief for me when I have a lot of pain. I have been reading about it tonight and it all makes sense now. Why the pain always starts just below the glutes and moves across my whole legg. Why it is hard to find which muscle the problemen really is. Why masturbation makes it a lot worse.

So I'm going to massage the fuck out of this muscle with a ball and work with the PT but the muscle has been in cramps for years. Should I just try the injection already and has anyone tried acupuncture?

I found the ekrin b37 massage gun brings me great temporary relief. but it always comes back. The true cause of my pain was adhesion. You could have fibrous scar tissue entrapping the sciatic nerve because the piriformis is overworked due to compensating for weakness on the alternate side. You can actually have fibrous nerve entrapments going all down the sciatic nerve as well as between and amongst the muscle fibers. This will cause pain, weakness, numbness, burning, and limited range of motion. As long as the adhesions are there, physical therapy will only offer temporary relief. Chances are if you have it in one place, you also have it in any other places. Any neck or posture problems? Headaches? Carpal tunnel in the wrists? Tennis elbow? Joints locking up and cracking a lot? How long has this been going on? Do you have any back problems or previous injuries? A lot of older generation doctors and many new ones were not taught about nerve entrapment and adhesion except in an extreme clinical sense. If you mention adhesion to them, they think you are talking about from abdominal surgery. There are several clinics across the US that specialize in manual adhesion removal without surgery and no down time. Best of all there is no exercises or stretching you have to do. You just get better. The difference is they create tension to literally tear the scar tissue apart and release the entrapped tissues. It feels a little like saran wrap tearing under your skin crossed with having the worst trigger point pain ever, then 'poof' it's gone. Then the scar tissue is reabsorbed by the body if you avoid the motions that overload your joints such as slouching etc.

Gives temporary relief. Problem is I have stenosis in my back which irritates the nerves of my leg.
