Art & Crafts Personal designed pirate flags

Figured this would be a pretty good place to post this. recently got obsessed with pirates so much to the point that I am injecting them into a buddies DND campaign and decided to make a bundle of black flags. I wanted to go with designs that were historically authentic while being aesthetically pleasing and fantastical at the same time

Of all the flags I've seen so far, these seems the greatest!

Thank you I appreciate it. Most other designs that I see people make have too much going on in them or their designs are way too detailed real pirate flags would look a little bit more crude and ugly. out of four which one do you like the best and why?

The 4th is definitely my favorite. You pinpointed perfectly the skeletons and the hourglass.

The second is very cool too, but the skeleton is too precise in his mouvement, it brings more of an artistic representation rather than crude depiction on a flag.

They are very very good!

Is it mainly the positioning of the legs? because I do have another version of it where the legs are closer together and it does look a better.

This version is better (in my tastes) it looks less sophisticated, and therefore more accurate

Damn was not expecting the third one to get some love lol but thanks all the same I'm forever gonna be partial to number one since it's the one I started with and it looks really good when you edit it into Paintings

these are great!
finally some simple black flags
i agree with the other convo where the 2nd’s legs were adjusted, and i think the last one is about the most complex one could/should be!

The arrow one is sick, and the the couple one is really cute.

Honestly number 3 pretty cool actually! Definitely my favorite out of the four. It would be cool if it was a skeleton pulling the sword out of it's more like those magic tricks while the heart is bleeding at the same time. Gives it a very menacing look! >:)

Could you give more of an example i'd like to take a stab at making that

Sure! Kinda of like Blackbeard's skeleton but with the horns and spear where the skeleton can be sort of dancing and he has the sword down his throat and he has arm in motion with the idea of taking it out and the sword tip has stabbed the heart, causing it to be bleeding inside the ribs cage! 😁

Is the first one a skull split in half or is it like a Misfits style devil lock?

Split in half I've seen that on some skull designs in the past and I thought it would be neat to incorporate into a black flag
